These are both on my list, but alas, I've read neither. I feel like I havent read a damn thing. hahaha
I've only read Psycho, and it was a very long time ago, so I am not voting here

Uf, well you need to read The Neverending Story. It may not be a world's classic novel, but it's basic and resonant.
I am going to. I hope to read every nominated novel, whether or not it made the list.
I know you mainly read on your Kindle, Jean, so I don't know if this feature is replicated, but my hardcover edition of TNS has color coded text to differentiate between the two words (same cover as on this poll in fact). I think that's a very cool feature.

It really is good, and I'm happy it's leading at the moment. I think you'd enjoy it, though it certainly is a children's novel. And with the evil force known as The Nothing (so ominous), how can it be bad? :)

well... bear must read something. And there's no better recommendation than one that comes from friends, right?
The only novel I doubt I'll ever come back to is ASoIaF. My lifetime, sadly, is limited.
How many have you read of our nominants?
With over 200 novels on the list, going through it all would be pretty tedious, but just scanning the overall list, my number would be around 50% as well. Some, too, I've never finished, such as Harry Potter.
