In this round, consisting of two sub-rounds, we determine which of the 41 novels with 2 secondings will occupy the 11 slots left in the 100 list.

You can vote for as many as you like. Top 3 will advance to the next sub-round.

everyone is very welcome to comment on the votes!

it's the only round where bears can't vote... haven't read none of these... what a shame!!!

Interesting, but I, too, am not qualified to vote here, for the same reason as bears.

I suggest we start with Watership Down. If it moves on, we'll have time to read it before the decisive voting ends.

I went with Battle Royale, by Koushun Takami and Watership Down, by Richard Adams... Two great books

... and as far as I can see, it has a perfect chance to move on. I'll start it as soon as I finish Doctor Sleep.

On The Road is one of my all-time favorites.

On The Beach had a great impact on me when I read it in high school.

These two fine travelogues got my vote. :D

Battlefield Earth, needs votes!!!

Everything except the last place is for me a surprise.

What are the shortest of these? It seemed On the Road was short, if so maybe I could squeeze in a read before the poll ends.

On the Road is doing pretty well anyway. I believe it will move on, so you don't have to hurry.

well i would read one of the bottom three, but it would probably skew the vote on an arbitrary pick on which one was shorter or that I chose to read.

In Germany, Watership Down by Richard Adams is one of the standard books to read in school.
