Journey is cool. But to get motivated I prefer electronic music, mostly techno. I also love Nirvana. :)

So, you're "young" then? Black Sabbath was the original "Metal" and the absolute "Thang" in the day!!! Trivia, "Led Zepplin" was considered "Metal" back in the day and I suppose they qualified to a certain extent. We just didn't have the "plethora" of "music compartments" back when "FM Radio" was young!! LOL

I had front row seats to one of there shows in the late eighties. they were a great live band, sounded fantastic which is more than I can say for most of the live eighties bands I had gone to see back in the day.
Truly talented band!

I saw Metallica and their opening act was...Queensryche!!! I was so amped! I had such a taste for amphetamines (drugs are bad,m'k) I was soo exciting. Geoff Tate did a masterful job, with the limited time, and doing what he could with Mindcrime. A class "A" light show...followed by METALLICA!!

This is my wife's new favorite band (can't go wrong with a vocalist who sounds like the mutant offspring of Rob Halford, King Diamond and Bruce Dickinson!). If you get the chance, check out the whole album, it's pretty diverse (but metal all the way :))

This is the opening track of the album. Check out the singer! He looks like a 25-year old Saruman ;)

A song that, I think, stands the test of time. It outlasts the band and the generation. Ignore the video and the time frame. It could have been recorded yesterday.
