I thought that I would throw my books in the ring. Not as impressive a collection as some others, but some that deserve recognition. Pics to follow soon. I will probably post them slowly. Bare with me - it's all new!

Ok, so that one worked. What follows are photos from my Donald Grant signed limited edition of Desperation. I am posting this first because I had so much fun working with Don Maitz on the color remarque, and because this is the one that got me hooked on remarques. He allowed me to pick one of my favorite scenes from the book and then we exchanged some ideas. He is so professional, and is a joy to work with. I will be posting some work he did in my copy of The Talisman next. I have posted the color remarque in the book and the original sketch he did beforehand. I anyone is interested in purchasing the original sketch please contact me.

Next up is my signed ARTIST limited edition of The Talisman. I got this on ebay for $630 - what a bargain. The story for this one is that I am an English teacher and I had Rick Berry's son in class a few years back and decided to ring him up to try to get some remarques (I sold a couple to Bad Penny). Rick was so accommodating, he even invited to me to a New Year's celebration where I me the men behind Donald Grant. A fun night that resulted in two of the remarques in this book. I then began work with Don Maitz again since he also contributed work to the two volumes. Each ended up doing two pieced (Mr. Berry in each book's opening pages, and Mr. Maitz in the closing). I am particularly fond of what Mr. Maitz came up with for the closing image - go back and reread the last pages of The Talisman and tell me what you think. I am also placing some of the sketches he sent me - again, if any interest you, let me know. I promise not to do a story with each book, but this one is very special to me.

Thanks for the warm welcome! Here is the last of my Rick Berry remarques - Bad Penny has the other two. To some, they may not seem as elaborate but what makes them so special is that as far as I know, no one else has any but the two of us. Mr. Berry does not do them, and only did because I had been his son's English teacher, and only then years later. The rarity is what makes them so special, and thus more collectable.

Next up, is one of may all time favorite King novels - IT. I was so juiced when I first heard that Brian at Cemetery Dance was doing this one - many thanks Brian! I was lucky enough to get matching numbers for my book and portfolio - again, thanks Brian! Then with much ado I was finally able to work my way into the lives of three very generous artists: Alan C. Clark, Erin Wells, and the elusive Glen Orbik (I can't begin to describe how hard it was to get this one - look closely at the red blotches to see an upside down Pennywise) - drool on that Bad Penny! In the end, each of them were very gracious and caring with their time and creativity. Each managed to add a remarque to my book and each did second remarque on the signature sheet for the portfolio - six remarques in all! This is the only true set I know of that has been done this way. This pairing is a true collector's piece! Enjoy!

Here is one remarque sure to get some talk going. I know there has been some debate on another chat about whether or not there is a any value, or devalue to having an artist remarque a book, especially, as in this case, the artist had nothing to do with the original book. In this case I had become bored with my limited edition of Cujo - let's face it, it's not a great looking book. So, I decided to get Glenn Chadbourne to do his magic on it. Controversial? What to you think the has happened to the value of this one? Open for debate!!! Keep in mind, there is no debate on the quality of the remarque itself.

Oh my Lord, you did not just ask me that did you????? OMG here I go!!! LOL LOL The "Haven Fund Whore" has found a new source!!!! :excited:

http://www.thedarktower.org/palaver/forumdisplay.php?196-2013-Haven-Foundation-Fundraiser

Every year, we have a fund raiser for the "Haven Fund", see the "Wall"....

http://www.thedarktower.org/

We raise funds for the benefit of Mr. King's charity utilizing ebay auctions and private donations to fund the cause. Typically, we come up with unique auction items that generally include the support of many artists to help out the cause. Last year, we surpassed the previous one by raising over $12K!!! The artist's do amazing things to HF donations to make them more collectible. Just ask, Bad Penny!!! He has quite a few. Many are "HF" specific and therefore not available to the public.

And the "Grand Prize" drawing typically includes a "personalized" King signature in a book!!! Last year's winner was "Cit74"!!!

You're gonna love it!!!

Sorry Greg .. I must admit, for once (maybe the first time ever) I'm not in the supporters camp regarding Glenn's work appearing in Limited/Lettered Editions that he wasn't a contributing artist for :beat:

The remarque (or is it "art in a book" when the artist isn't a contributor?) is damn cool, and, yes, you're right, the Cujo Limited is somewhat lack lustre, and could use some gussying up - of some sort or another.

Sure, I have a bunch of Chadbourne remarques/art/drawings, both stand alone, and in books too - however, where possible (given that I want a remarques, or multiples as is the case with FDNS, 25th IT and Doctor Sleep) I will choose to have the contributing artists do the work.

This is not detrimental feedback at all Greg (as you and most people here know, I'm a massive advocate of Glenn's work) as it always comes down to "horses for courses" for each collector when the remarque card is played - so long as the results are pleasing to you, nothing else really comes into the equation, right?

Still pissed that you have a remarqued IT Art Portfolio signature sheet though !!!! :innocent:

DoctorZaius
08-11-2013, 07:53 PM
No need to apologize. I knew when I did this particular remarque I was doing it for myself - this is one of the only limiteds with no art. As I said, I had lost my love of Cujo, or vice-versa. You are correct in that as long as I love it, and I do very much, then all is well. You can tell I love it because I still own it.

On a side note, I have something really special from the remarque world I have been working on for months. Going to be one-of-a-kind stuff! If I play my cards right I may have two (one for me and one to sell). You won't believe it!!! Don't bother asking me anything about it because I don' t want to jinx it! How is that for a teaser?

Jimimck

I think the art is really cool. I don't think I'd have anything done to my Cujo s/l (if it ever arrives ), but think you've done something really unique here.

BTW, I'm not even a Pennywise collector, but knowing how envious of your IT Remarque set I am, can only imagine how jealous BP is right now! just an awesome set!

Next up in Remarque-Land are ones that Vinny Chong did for me. I had seen a lot of his previous remarques for Stephen King Goes to the Movies and I had told him I wanted something that had not been done in the book. I suggested some of my favorite King movies and I turned him loose. The results are stunning! My personal favorite is the dual one - Misery and The Shining. Vinny also did some Joe Hill remarques for me and one in my Full Dark, No Stars that will go up soon. He is great to work with, but he is so busy that you have wait awhile (I waited almost a year) - but in the end he comes through. I can't wait to get my hands on the upcoming Doctor Sleep and The Shining. As always, enjoy!

After a good morning of golf it's time to post more from my remarque collection. Today's gem is one of my favorites for a number of reasons. One: at 148 copies, this is so collectable. Second: I loved reading so much in it's serialized form; I was teaching a high school creative class and were all reading it monthly - we had so much fun reading/writing/speculating about it. Three: I loved that Bill kept to the serialized format with the six volumes. Four: well, the remarques by Mark Geyer are great, and he was gernous enough to do one in each volume. Five: perhaps my favorite aspect is Bill's very clever idea to allow people to send in their names and have their names printed as having walked the Green Mile - my name is on the pictured page! Luckily I survived!

Oops! You will have to be OK with remarques from my Full Dark, No Stars. This one took a while to amass because it had to got to so many different artists, with vary schedule commitments. In the end Vinny Chong, Glenn Chadbourne, Jill Bauman, and Alan M. Clark were all very generous to work with. As a side note I tried to get the fifth artist involved with this book, Tomislav Tikulin, but I became hesitant about shipping the book to Croatia. He had agreed to do it but the shipping was very confusing and expensive. I may still try. Anyone out there work with Tomislav in Croatia. I would love to hear how you did it and how it turned out. In the meantime, enjoy 4/5 of my Full Dark, No Stars.

Well, I am sad to say that these are the last of my Stephen King related remarques. The limited edition of Blockade Billy is a real special one on a number of fronts. One: an overall superbly done book/case - great job Lonely Books! Two, with the lone exception of the checks in The Regulators limited edition (I have a fantastic check by the way!) the idea of a signed baseball card is brilliant, especially when displayed with my Stephen King bobble-head doll that were give out at a Lowell Spinners baseball game - I live only a half hour away! Artist, Alex McVey just went crazy in this one, putting remarries everywhere he could fit them, even on the blue boards. If you choose to comment, let me know if you would like me to keep showing my remarques (Joe Hill, The Exorcist, The Passage) or it you would like to see my Regulators (great check) and Bag of Bones (great story and inscription). Great BB remarques! I loved working with Alex. After he had the book for a couple of weeks, I sent him an email to see how the remarques were coming along. He told me he had been having fun with it, and it would be a few more days. When I got the book back, he had added about eight or nine sketches. For what he charged, he definitely exceeded expectations!

Discussing collectible King on the forums is one thing but in the end nothing's more enjoyable than seeing them books and finding out what makes your collection unique!

Absolutely agree with John and Michaël, bring 'em all on mate - the more the better

My collection is at your disposal. As always, enjoy!

I think I can speak for almost everyone here that we'd like to see them all!

John

A quick break from remarques to share a fun story and one very special Stephen King inscription. In the year before I got married my wife (Yankees fan) and I (Boston fan) had decided that instead of having the guests at reception be seated at tables with number designations we would instead seat people at tables designated by our favorite authors - we are English teachers who love to read. One such table was of course reserved for Stephen King - it was my mother's table. Well, in November of the year before my wife and I attended a reading/signing King did while promoting Bag of Bones. When we arrived the ushers stated that King would not be personalizing anything, much to our dismay. Well, after a stellar reading and Q/A, we lined up - thankfully, we were last in line. Mr. King seemed relieved to be done with the throng of people and actually gave us about five minutes of good conversation. We explained to him how we were both English teachers in vocational school and that we teach a number of his books in our classes (Carrie, Eyes of the Dragon, The Body, Shawshank Redemption, as well as a number of short stories). He seemed genuinely pleased to hear that many of our reluctant readers really enjoyed his books and many had in fact jumped into some of his other works. We then got into what we were doing with books at our upcoming wedding. Needless to say, we got more than just two flatsigned books. He signed one, "To the guests of Greg and Denise's wedding - join me in wishing them well - Stephen King." This is the book we put at my mother's table, but unfortunately she did not wind up with it, a friend of her's did. The other book is the one pictured, which he signed, "To Greg and Denise - Keep Teaching My Books! - Stephen King." To this day I still bring the book into school to share with my students. I have been to many readings and signings over the years, but this is the only one I was lucky enough to get inscribed - all the others I've sold off. Thanks for reading my story - enjoy!

You might be surprised to know that of all my limited editions, the one I most treasure is NOT a Stephen King one. Not even my limited edition of The Stand can touch this treasure - this book was my Holy Grail! When I came across the blog on 100 greatest books of all time I immediately nominated, Geek Love, by Katherine Dunn. To my surprise no seems to have read it. This National Book Award nominee is one of, if not the, favorite book of mine. It's an unforgettable tale of a family of circus freaks (the mother actually ingests drugs during pregnancy to continue the family tradition in deformity). The novel is just crazy, and it comes with my highest recommendation. By chance I came across someone who had heard that there was a limited edition of the book - a rarer than rare limited edition. Only 32 copies were produced (only 26 of which were offered for sale) - all were lettered. There was no numbered edition. Artist Mare Blocker created a stunning limited edition for the ages. The case is done in the shape of a circus tent (notice the raised tent shape on the front and title on the rear). The multi-color interior boards create an oddly festive feeling for such a strange book. The article on the book mentions one of the interior one-of-a-kind interior pieces, Aqua Boy. Arturo (Aqua Boy) is the main antagonist of the book - Arturo has no hands and feet and actually begins his own cult following with people cutting thier own hands and feet off in effigy! Great Stuff!!!" My copy, as you can see, is Aqua Boy (Letter 'E' - real treat to have with the article that mentions him. Arturo himself is slightly raised in the artwork. I can't begin to tell you how hard to worked to get this one. I hope that this intrigues enough of you to give the book a try - it's amazing!

Vinny did a wonderful remarque, one that I have seen in other editions, but one that is so perfect for the book. A nice low number that matches my Gunpowder book. Enjoy!

My newest remarques. I hope I won't get hammered after all that "triple remarque" fiasco. These were obtained after much emailing, begging, letter writing, etc. Robert McGinnis's work was so much a part of my youth. His iconic movie poster images for the Bond series were hanging on my bedroom walls in my youth. I love that he was receptive to my request to balance images from the book and from his iconic legacy, most noticeable in his capturing the male fantasy of women. Enjoy!

To be honest, he does not necessarily do them for money. I had tried requesting him to do one for me multiple times only to be turned down. Then out of the blue, he said yes. There was no formal request for money, instead I was asked to pay what I felt was appropriate. Very interesting way to do business. In the end I sent him a check with the books for $300, but he has yet to cash it. Money is definitely not the way to approach him. I approached him by explaining how much his work had meant to me as a young man and for who knows what reason, he finally said yes.

Great remarques Greg - the one on the left, for me, certainly evokes the underlying tone of the "Hollywood Girls"

Yeah, I get what you mean. The one on the left is much more reflective of the novel, while the one on the right reminds me of the Bond posters I loved so much. I am torn between them.

As an ardent fan of vintage noir paperback-originals, I can't even begin to tell you how envious I am of those McGinnis remarks. Like you, he's one of my favorites of all time. If you ever feel like two remarque books are one too many, give me a holler...I would give it a very, very appreciative home. :)

I'd ask how you got in touch with him, but I don't even want to be tempted.

I have been so patiently waiting for my newest addition. Well worth the wait. In my mind, when judging the aesthetics of my books, this one is second only to my Stand limited edition. What The guys at Cemetery Dance have done with the white is just stunning! I was lucky enough to get one of Vinny's remarked copies - I will add Erin's later. Enjoy!

I emailed, emailed, and emailed some more. I think I beat his son down. They got so sick of me that they gave in. In truth, I wrote what I thought was a heartfelt letter thanking him for the work he had done in my youth. I was a horny adolescent at the time the Bond films were coming out and am not ashamed to say that many of my early fantasies were the result of his work. It must have touched him in some way.

For Doctor Sleep? No. As much as I loge Glenn's work I tend to go with the artist associated with the book - the lone exception being my Cujo, which I had become bored with. I didn't bother with getting the Dark Man either, but that is because I am having Glenn do it on the side instead - more money for him in the end. I did order one of Vinny's for The Shining too.

Just got my package from Glenn. He was kind enough to let me send him an idea and then run with it. Here is what I sent him "As you know, the dark man is the precursor to the character Randall Flagg. You have done such an amazing job with poem I was thinking of exploring the character that emerges. At the rear of the book are two blank white canvases for you. I see them as a sort of collage (you have done some really cool ones over the years) of Flagg's appearances. as long as Grant in Australia is jealous!

I was seeing:
The Stand - the dark man overlooking Vegas and crucifixions, maybe even a mushroom cloud with the hand of God behind, like in the novel's finale
Eyes of the Dragon - the dark man shot in the eye with an arrow, beginning to melt, perhaps the young king/prince with his bow spent
The Gunslinger's opening line where the gunslinger is following the man in black across the desert, maybe in the foreground/background of the collage
Perhaps a railroad through it like from the poem itself, a dark man at the back of it ready to emerge as the characters

What do you think? Is this crazy? It's just the kind of homage I was envisioning given the seminal importance do the poem. B/W, Color, subtle color? I can leave up to your eye. Let me know what you think. You can tell me I'm being ridiculous if you want. I hope you're up for it."

OK, I want everyone to please take what follows seriously. Below you will find my most recent remarque, one that Erin Wells did in my S/L Dr. Sleep (below you can see Vinny's work in the same edition). This remarque was commissioned by me - it is NOT one of the CD ones. I took the chance and time to send Erin my own book, at my own cost. No offense to CD, but I figured I would get more for my money this way, and Erin gets more as well, all of it in fact. Because I worked with Erin on this I was able to have a "little" input - I was dying to see more of what was in the mirror, and she agreed. In all likelihood, my remarque will be larger, more detailed, and have more color, than what the CD ones. I just don't want Erin to catch any unnecessary ill will because I wanted to share her creation with my collecting friends. With that in mind, please enjoy Erin's latest creation, and the first of her remarques that I have seen in the Doctor Sleep books. Bravo Erin!

p.s. Grant - drool baby!

Been along time since I posted anything. I have some new remarques (non King) that may interest some of your, but for now here is my copy of the signed/limited Knowing Darkness. Well, I finally got my first Dolso case, and what a beauty it is. I had to convince Dick to venture back into the world of Knowing Darkness. As many of you probably know, he had quite an injury scare the last time he produced one of these, and he was only now willing to take another crack at one. I am so pleased he did. This is the one book that I was looking to protect for so long. It's a real beauty. So now I have the bug. Dick and I are in the early stages of working something else up for the future.

OK, so it's been a while since I put up some new things. Earlier this year I found out that Bernie Wrightson was coming to Boston Comic Con. Many of us have heard about Bernie's health issues and knew that he was no longer doing remarques, in fact, his wife said he isn't doing any drawing at all, just appearances like these. Very sad. Still, it would be a chance to meet the man who, in addition to creating Swamp Thing, also did Wolves of the Calla and Cycle of the Werewolf. At minimum, I figured a signature was in order (I got a trade Calla signed). As I was perusing two portfolios containing sketches and prelim drawings, hoping for something King related, I was talking with Bernie's wife, Liz, who said that unfortunately all the King material was gone. But then I hit some surprises: a very rough prelim sketch for Werewolf, and some very cool prelim sketches used for Calla (they match up nicely with finished pieces in the Grant edition). When I showed her them, she laughed and said that she had thought they had all been sold, but I could purchase them if I wanted. Needless to say, I snagged them all and got Bernie to sign them as well. I might not be able to get a Wrightson remarque, but these prelims are a very cool alternative, and these are the last in his collection, or so says Liz. Well, here they are for your perusal - I have included some pics of Bernie signing them too. Sorry for doubling up in the New Pride and Joy post are too, but I just love them!

Time for my other Boston Comic Con story. So, the other artist I was jazzing to meet was Jae Lee. I have long been drooling over some of the remarques he's done in TWTTK. A couple of months back I was able to work a deal with David at Betts to get a Dark Tower set that runs from III-TWTTK - I'm looking for #255 for the first two if anyone has them. My goal was to get Jae to do a remarque in the signed limited TWTTK. On Friday, I was one of the first people to get to Jae's table, before the line became untenable. He was taking commissions (not cheap for what I wanted) and I had to do a little convincing because he was a bit hesitant to take such an expensive book into his hands for the weekend - he promised to have it done on Sunday. He actually seemed a bit disappointed that I wanted a Roland remarque as those are what he gets asked for most often. Then I went off to see Bernie as I described in my other recent post here.

The next day, Saturday, I decided to see if I could get Jae to do two more remarques, this time in my two artist editions of TWTTK. Jae said OK, but I would have to give him till the end of the day on Sunday as commissions were running high. I also decided to have him add something to my original commission from Friday. Joe had seemed genuinely disappointed at doing another Roland so I threw him some more money and asked if he could add another person from the Ka-Tet. We settled on Detta in her wheel chair. I could see that he was enthused by the opportunity to add more. Off I went to see what else I could find.

Sunday rolls around and I am so excited to see what Jae has come up with. I also decide to press my luck and ask for a fourth remarque, this time in my Marvel edition of The Gunslinger Born - Love Jae's work in this series. He initially did not want to add to the work he had to finish, but when I mentioned that I would like a Susan Delgado he just smiled and said "yes." That's when he dropped the bomb on me. Jae said that he had become inspired the night before as he was doing the preliminary sketch for my TWTTK remarque. He said that he wanted to draw the whole Ka-Tet if that was OK with me - "Hell yeah!" was my reply. Jae was nervous about time and asked that I come back at 6PM, right when the Con was to end. Needless to say I walked around the Con giddy with excitement. When 6PM rolled around I cycled back to reap my rewards. Unfortunately, Jae was only half way done with the inking of TWTTK. He gave me my other three remarques - just look below to enjoy them - but needed more time. Jae told me he was staying at the hotel across the street and I told him I was parked underneath and that my wife and I could go have a drink while he finished. He was relieved. That's when Jae gave me his business card, with his personal phone number so we could text when he was done - I could probably sell that number! KIDDING! So now I am having a few beers with my wife, and Jae texts me at 7PM that he's done, but that he really wants to add one more thing if I can wait a little longer - he wants to add the bleeping Crimson King! Another beer for my wife and me. 7:45 rolls around and in pops Jae with what he calls "the best" remarque he has ever done in a King book, and the "only" remarque to have the whole Ka-tet, even Oy. When I mention how I can't wait to put it up on the site here and that I had gotten he book from David, he just smiled and told me to tell David "hi" - I already passed that one one. I offered to buy Jae a drink but alas the does not drink. We took a picture together with his masterpiece, now mine, and then went on our merry ways. Just thought I would pass on Jae's final sentiments that working on The Dark Tower for Stephen King, for Donald Grant, for Marvel, and for us has been, and I quote, "the single best professional experience in his life." His body of work certainly shows it. Sorry to taking so long to tell a simple story, but it was just a thrill! Enjoy!

I was lucky to add some real beauties while I was away on vacation. First up is a RED numbered copy of The Eyes of the Dragon. This particular copy comes from the 10 copies that designer Michael Alpert was given by Stephen King for his efforts. As you all know, most of these were personalized as gifts from Stephen, which is why I feel so lucky to have one that is not. I vacillated back and forth on this one, but after conferring with David at Betts as to the seller and the book's legitimacy, I jumped on it. Being a sub 300 number also allowed me to contact Paul at Suntup Press to secure a matching number for my portfolio - different artists, I know, but they will be matching numbers nonetheless. As the seller noted, this was left in its original box for over 30 years, and the jet black condition is just gorgeous.

I also had this baby waiting for me when I returned from vacation. I was able to get Ned to do multiple remarques in my my Signed Limited Edition of The Wastelands. It was a treat to be able to exchange ideas on the images I wanted. The opening one is from pages 46-47, when Roland is gouging out Shardik's eye with Eddie and Susannah watching. Ned noted that there was a little bleed through, and so he added a continuing motif of Shardik's robotic teeth on the ensuing page - I love how artists turn a negative into a positive. Ned was then generous enough to engage me again with the same book before returning it. I wanted the book to open and close with his work. After exchanging ideas again, he added a remarque or Jake and Oy with copies of the two books, Charlie the Choo Choo and Riddle-De-Dum! that will play a central role in the next book's opening. I think it's perfect. I have also included, thanks to Ned, the small series of practice pieces that Ned produced, just to see his conceptualizing. Happy Birthday Kris - Enjoy!

Ok, so I thought I would start with the extras that came with The Eyes of the Dragon art portfolios from Suntup. I was so pleased that Paul sent me one for each set, one for my numbered, and one for my lettered. I was ready to get rid of my box and it was only then that I noticed the tube that contained the posters - I almost screwed up royally. The Palladini book is great.

And here is my numbered edition. I gotta tell you, I found the linen napkin to be one of the finest attention to details I have seen from a publisher. I teach The Eyes of the Dragon to my freshmen in high school and we have had many a discussion surrounding the working title for the novel, The Napkins. I also loved that it was packaged with love from Thomas, at least that is want the note says. Another fine touch! This production is just awesome. If you have not ordered one, you really should. It is only surpassed by the quality of the lettered edition I will post pictures of later. I also love that I have a number that matches my Philtrum Press limited.

We are still looking for someone to take over a team. Come on and join in the fun! I took over a team about three years ago, and look where I wound up. Perhaps your name could be next!

So, a few years back I sold my Marble edition of Dolan's. Yes, it was the more limited of the two, but I never really liked it. I always loved the look of this version much better. I jumped on this "Presentation Copy" when it (and a bonus case) appeared on Bett's. Then when they arrived today, and I glance at the return address, I come to find out that it comes courtesy of The Caretaker! Thanks David and Ralph!

Not King related but I thought that I would share it anyway. I spent this past weekend at Boston Comic Con, and while I may have missed out on the cool IT swag (never saw it), I did manage to meet one of the great icons of the movie poster business, Drew Struzman. He has created some of the most iconic images (Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, The Thing, Goonies, etc) including this Star Wars one I had him sign. He was kind enough to add the "May The Force Be With You" as well. I was also lucky enough to meed up with Anthony Daniels, of C3PO fame, and have him sign it as well. I am so lucky to have it on the wall of my movie room.

I got these little King-related art pieces as well while attending Boston Comic Con this weekend. The first, which was created by Christopher Uminga and is on a piece of metal, made me laugh so much I had to have it...

while the second two, both by Heather Morris, I just wanted to have on display near the books they pay homage to. It's hard to tell from the photo, but at the center of each rose in the number "19."

So, this new one did not cost me a penny. Yesterday, my wife's friend comes by after doing an early spring cleaning of her cellar. Turns out she and her husband visited Bangor 25 years ago and purchased this signed limited edition print. Not sure who Richard A. Manzo is? She thinks she bought it at the old Bett's bookstore. She gave it to me. Never saw one before. Kinda cool.

Wow. Just Wow. Your collection is just outstanding. The limited books you have are fantastic. And I have not seen that many re-marques before on one collection. Thanks for the kudos. It took a lot of hard work, much networking, and more than a little luck to get all those remarques. I used to aspire to have a collection like a former collector here, Bad Penny, from down under. His remarque collection was second to none. It's not where his was, but I like to think it's getting closer.

These all come from separate volumes of the Dark Tower Graphic novels. I got the first one last year, while the next three are all new. I love Jae's work, especially on WTTKH. Hope you do too.
