Do you picture characters from the books you read as previously established characters? (pats chest) I do.

Here are two characters from books I've read that were 'played' by characters from other franchises ... well, in my mind anyway. :pirate:

Lord Eddard Stark from the A Song of Ice and Fire series is actually

BEOWULF!

Gentle from Clive Barker's Imajica novels is actually

Yeah I have done that a little while reading the Malazan Books by Steven Erikson.

While reading Memories of Ice, I came to see the character Itkovian as Koei's representation of Mitsuhide Akechi in the Samurai Warriors games.

The character of Kallor I also pictured as a Samurai Warriors character, that of Kojiro Sasaki.

I do that sometimes...with Stephen King books mostly.

I don't, normally. Once the initial character is described in the book I build an image from there.

Sometimes I will picture a character in a book as an actor.
