I have an idea for a great fundraising attempt. A Stephen King Quiz! I thought the quiz on Occupy Day was a great idea, so now I will take it to the next level.

Quiz Start Time: Saturday, May 4, 2013 @ 7 pm Pacific Time (look it up)

Entry fee to be donated before Friday, May 3, 2013 @ 1 pm Pacific Time: $10

10 dollars to enter, 10 questions to answer. The first one to PM me the correct answers wins the prize. You have 24 hours to answer the questions, afterwards, I will put all of the entrants with the correct answers in a hat and pull out the winner of the prize! What is the prize?

How about one of the last remaining In Mint Condition: 2013 Signed, Limited Hardcover Editions? How about a Trade Paperback Edition as well? And if you live in the Continental US, I'll throw in free shipping.

Worth playing for? Get your $10 entry fee donations in now, and post in here when you have done so. See you then!

Awesome idea!! If I was certain I would be available that day, I'd be all over this quiz.

BUT I'll offer to sweeten the pot, if you don't mind? I'll send you a PM. ;)

If the winner is interested, I'll also toss in a hand drawn replica of the original artwork I created to accompany my own story submission. My drawing is nowhere near as impressive as the artist's illustration Shannon will include in the publication, BUT the winner would be the only person other than myself to have a version of the artwork I created for the piece. Free shipping in the US... and if the winner is overseas, perhaps Shannon and I could work something out to send it along with the books.

Where do we send in the donation Shannon, to RF as usual or you?

Just my humble opinion, but instead of 1st one to answer correctly. have a random drawing from all correct entries. that way you are not tied down to a specific time.

Send the money via the widget or to RF like normal.

I like your idea RB! I'll reset the times when I get home. It'll probably be open for2 24 hours.

The Widget was removed. It worked for donations, but wouldn't update properly. Long story short-Paypal stopped supporting it.
You can send the donation to me (as a PP gift). Please make SURE to note it is for Shannon's contest.

I'm in Shannon. Just sent a donation to RF. I'm hoping you've gone for the "all correct entries go in to draw" option, as being international, not sure if ill be around at a specific time.

Cheers

Yep, that's what I'll do. From Saturday, May 4, 2013 @ 1 pm Pacific Time to Sunday, May 5, 2013 @ 1 pm, the quiz will be open. Whoever sends me correct responses will be put into a drawing.

All questions will be able to be answered from the website.

I only received two PMs before 7 pm Pacific time. Both of them were correct. Going to http://www.random.org/lists/, putting in the two names, and randomizing them ten times. The name on top is the winner!

Jimimck is the winner! Congratulations!
