128 short stories, one winner! Choose your favorite short story in each of the battles below. The winners will advance until we have one winner per bracket. There are four brackets. Those bracket winners will then face off against each other. The short story in each of the battles that gets ten votes first wins, that's when voting for that battle will end.

Shame these two have come up against each other here. They are both finals candidates if you ask me.

I'm going to go for Battleground. Purely based on I've read that more times than quitters inc.

Could not agree with you more!!!! This was an unfortunate pairing, but had to be done!!! I really enjoyed "Battleground" as well. Like I said "tough" call.
