So, this day started as any other day does to me. I wake up, take a good hot shower(alto they might be cold, depends on if I have had enough sleep or not) and get dressed. I wander off to work, reading the DT4 in the bus.

Work was good, had plenty of costumers, but I asked my boss if I could get last 4 hours off, to do some last Christmas shopping. Since we were plenty at work, it was no problem. (I actually didn't need the 4 hours off, but I felt like it would do me good)

So, I do my Christmas shopping(buy in enough alcohol, food and a new pair of gloves, it's darn cold outside these days), and head towards home. I check my mailbox, and voila, a paper from the post office, they could not fit a letter/package in my mailbox, so I have to pick it up at the post office.

At this point I'm thinking "Whaat? Hm, I'm not expecting anything special, no Christmas gifts(I don't celebrate it) nor anything else. Except the TD.com bookmark which Mark has sent me. Hmmm.." Ah well, I look at the clock and it says 15:50. "DARN! The post office closes at 16:00, but I might still make it." I think to myself, as I am rushing(running) past cars, going trough the little red men that stand. I reach the post office just a second before they close. I hand the paper to the nice women behind the desk, as I barely can breathe, I'm gasping for air and the nice women look weird at me, I try to read her mind(to see what she's thinking about me) but I fail.

She goes away to find the package, the clock is now ticking as slow as ever and time seems to have stopped. I'm wondering for myself if Hiro is visiting me.(Hiro, from "Heroes") Suddenly, after what felt like a whole day, the nice lady comes back with a large white envelope made of cardboard. "What in the bloody hell is that?" I once more think to myself. I wish the nice lady a Merry Christmas, give her a smile and walk slowly towards my home.

On my way home, I read who the "letter" is from? It's pretty hard, and large. it says from a certain Mr. Smith, and it's from the U.S. Damn, Matt hasn't send me a little bookmark in this large envelope? Nah, but what is it and who's it from? Well, I can't wait to find out, so I rush back to my place, trow aside all the other letters(Bills mostly, I guess) without looking at them and open the envelope.

It's like I've opened a gold chest full of gold bars, I feel the warmth of the gold shining on my cheeks, I have to close my eyes, for it's a light that's so bright I'm afraid it will make me blind. I slowly open my eyes again, and see that in the package there are 7 comic books. What in the world is this? I turn them up front, and see it says in golden letters(to me they seem golden): "Stephen King, The Dark Tower" At the bottom it says: "Gunslinger Born".

Taking a closer look at the envelope I see above the name of the sender, written by hand, it says: "Randall Flagg". I can't believe it. These comic books are from a man I only know trough a forum on the internet. These comic books are nowhere to find in Norway. My heart is filled with happiness and joy. I'm greatfull for this great gift. I would have never expected it to be these comic books or from you. I've made this tread to say
"THANK YOU"
or
"THANKEE SAI"
to Mr. Randall Flagg here at the site. You're truly a great human being. Thanks a million times. Under are some picture of the comic books I've taken.

P.S. Also thanks to Matt, who sent me a great holiday card with the bookmark, it was amongst the other letters, or I might as well say "bills". Se also a picture below!
