Towerpedia:Hambry

Hambry is a fictional place in author Stephen King’s The Dark Tower series. Located on the edge of the Clean Sea, Hambry is the Barony seat of Mejis.

Comprised mainly of adobe buildings, with some brick structures as well, Hambry has two markets – an upper and a lower. Fishing and raising horses are the two main employs in Hambry, with the Horsemen’s Association wielding a fair amount of power.

All but forgotten by the Gunslingers and the powers that be in In-World, Hambry is the town to which Roland and his mates are sent to get them out of the way of Marten Broadcloak, who has sworn to kill Roland at the first opportunity. Once in Hambry, Roland and his ka-tet discover a plan to aid John Farson in his war against the Affiliation.
