Roland could step into Eddie's and the Pusher's mind (through the magical doors) and he could lead them.
Whose mind would you like to step into and why? How long would you like to stay and what would you do?

Walter's, I would want to see about all of the things that he had done in his past. The lives that he had touched, and is his soul was really as black as it seemed

Would you just peek or would you lead him to do this or that?

I would sit back and explore, then at the end, judging by what I found, probably walk him of a cliff

There is such a choice as "someone else's". ;)

It would be very interesting to see all the things that Walter has seen. The places he's been etc. He more than any of the characters listed would have experienced the most and thats why.

I also voted Walter. He is the character whose nature is the most intriguing to me [in terms of who or what he is in actuality]. Being in the dogan of that mind would be fascinating and terrfiying.:panic:

I came in here to say ROLAND, ROLAND, ROLAND!

However, after reading all these other posts about the things and places our good friend the Man in Black must have seen, I think I have to jump on the boat and say Walter as well.

I'd force you to the back of my mind faster than Jack Mort. You'd be my Mattcypedia.

Hmmm now theres a good point...if i was in rolands mind i could by "mistake" hold the gun the wrong way around and shot myself by "mistake" about 18 times

I would like to be in Roland's mind. To read what he thinks. To see what he does.
To feel what he feels.

Not alot then :orely:

I guess we will never agree on it.
I do think Roland is a very sensitive man. He might have put his feelings into a little closed box for long long years but when he strated to feel his second ka-tet he couldn't help but that box opened.

Also stepping into Oy's mind would be interesting, especially considering what we know from Jake's experience in DT7...

Had not thought of that. Very interesting, and a great moment from 7.

I'd have to say Walter too. I think there are many tales there to be told of Walters experiences, some of which would make me wish I hadnt stepped into his mind, but I couldnt help the curiosity.

I just scrolled straight down, afraid of spoilers :P

I'd love to visit Rolands mind. Imagine the things you would see! :D

such a lot of votes for Walter... I personally wouldn't touch him with a bargepole.

JasKo: I hope everybody remembers to mark their spoilers. So far everything looks ok.

You're really surprised? Walter has been around for a very long time, been to many different worlds, seen so many things, makes sense to me.

I see, but it's like that conversation we've already had about looking into the Glass. I'm far more fastidious than curious.

Just to see if the language filter will actually kick Blaine off.... fuck fuck fuck fuck fuckity fo fo fo fo fa fuck. you fuck your uncle uncle fucka.... Ok, that's for the comment about Roland. Anyways, I put down other. I would want to see inside Cuthbert's mind. I always felt most like him, and he was such a good character. I went through a similar situation with my best friend and a girl(he's sold his soul to her, swear to Gan) and Cuthbert held his grip on things so wonderfully. The only thing I would change would be to save Alain... I know fate would force him to die sooner or later to make up for that lost death, but I'd rather he die with Cuthbert on Jericho Hill than by his own Best Friends' hands.

So alot of people seem to wish to see into Walter's head. What do you all think would be the most interesting moment?

Brice

I picked Roland. He seems to have a very interesting and unique mind.

Katet

Now, by reading the books haven't we all stepped into Rolands mind, in a way? I mean, we all know what he thinks and how he would feel in certain situations. Now if I were to step into anyone's mind it would have to be...

Rosalita's...for a while there she was like..Roland's girlfriend and she was kick ass with the 'Riza..and she wasn't afraid to go to war with the Wolves. Yeah I'd definately like to be Rosa when Roland and his Ka-tet were in the Calla.

I dunno if my selection would have to be put in a Spoiler tag...but I thought so. Oh darn...now people who haven't read WOTC can't see my selection...

Thank you, Katet. For my part I am always very happy to see people using the spoiler tags.

Cuthbert's and Oy's.

Yes, Oy's. For some reason I am fascinated with level of awareness / sentience in animals, specifically canids. Go figure.

Walter is a b ad bad man... I don't think I could bear being in his mind when he was doing bad bad things... although he's very interesting to read about.

And I think Oy's mind would be interesting to visit.

I absolutely agree. Callahan is such a great character. I am rereading the Wolves now and I love this man more and more.
His mind must be very exciting and complex.
