In the fall, Paramount Home Media Distribution will bring Pet Sematary to Blu-ray. Adapted by bestselling author Stephen King from his own novel, this horror-thriller examines the supernatural happenings surrounding a small-town pet cemetery.

From Paramount's official synopsis:

"[The film] tells the story of Louis and Rachel Creed (Dale Midkiff, The Crow: Salvation, and Denise Crosby, Star Trek: The Next Generation) and their two children, an average family who move into an idyllic home in the countryside to begin what promises to be a perfect new life. Unfortunately, their dream home sits next to a pet cemetery with a horrible and dark secret. When a family tragedy causes Louis to become unhinged with grief, he pays a visit to the cemetery and unleashes an unspeakable evil on the world."

Paramount's Blu-ray presents the film in its 1.85:1 original aspect ratio with a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio track. The disc also contains the following supplements:

Commentary by director Mary Lambert
Stephen King Territory with the author delving into both the film's locations as well as the origins of his novel

Brian Krause and Alice Krige star in this terrifying tale of modern-day vampires who prey on virtuous young women. Madchen Amick plays the sexually curious virgin who falls for the new boy in school (Brian Krause), only to learn too late that he's a life-sucking Sleepwalker. Mutating at will from golden boy to savage monster, Krause stalks Amick to feed his seductive mother. As the tension mounts (and the casualties pile up), the town's tabbies gather for a final, chilling showdown with the monsters in their midst - and we all know it's not nice to hurt people's felines... With cameo appearances by Stephen King and Clive Barker.

I always liked "Pet Sematary." Fred Gwynn was great as Jud. It's hard to slip that Herman Munster association but he did a fine job and I congratulate whoever cast him in that role. He was perfect. "Sleepwalkers" on the other hand was a real dud. I haven't seen it in years, but remember laughing out loud when the woman is spinning around and the fake cats are sewed to her to make it look as though they are attacking. It's hard to think of anything good to say about that one.

Arrow Video has officially announced and detailed their upcoming Dual Format edition of George A. Romero's Knightriders (1981), starring Ed Harris, Gary Lahti, Tom Savini, and Patricia Tallman. The release will be available for purchase on April 22.

A trio of stranger things is coming to Blu-ray: Warner Bros. Home Entertainment announced Wednesday that they’re releasing two miniseries adapted from Stephen King-penned tales —1979’s vampire saga Salem’s Lot and 1990’s creepy clown tale It — on the format for the first time Sept. 20. That day, WBHE is also debuting a Blu-ray of the King-written horror anthology Cat’s Eye, whose most memorable segment finds James Woods’ character embarking on what turns out to be a very stringent anti-smoking regime.

Cat’s Eye will include a commentary from filmmaker Lewis Teague while It has a commentary with Richard Thomas, among others. Meanwhile, Salem’s Lot boasts an all-new commentary from its director and Master of Horror, Tobe Hooper. The Blu-rays will all feature new high-definition masters of the King adaptations.

Won't a person need a 4K resolution Blu-Ray player, AND a 4K display to take advantage of the enhanced resolution?

mae
08-27-2016, 12:47 PM
No, it just means they scanned the original film at 4K resolution. The blu-ray will be resized to 1080p but the quality will be much better, sharper, and colors more vivid. And the 4K scan itself can then be used on the UHD release in the future, which is in 4K and would require a 4K display and player, yes.

So they've already established that in this universe, everyone has the zombie virus in them. They've also established that if you are bitten, you turn. Unless of course, you are able to cut off the bitten part.

So now for the first time ever, we have a guy that has been bitten and survived? In fact the bite actually healed?

NEW US TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT: Creepshow 2 Limited Edition Blu-ray + Standard Blu-ray

one of the greatest horror anthologies of all time.

Unleashed December 13th. North American Blu-ray pre-order link should be live soon!

WHEN THE CURTAIN GOES UP THE TERROR BEGINS

Horror titans George A. Romero and Stephen King deliver yet another fiendish selection of blood-curdling tales in Creepshow 2 – now newly remastered in 2K!

In “Old Chief Wood'nhead”, a group of young hoodlums face retribution from an unlikely source after looting a local hardware store. Meanwhile, “The Raft” sees a group of horny teens wishing they’d read the warning signs first before taking a dip in a remote lake. Finally, an uptight businesswoman finds herself with some unwanted company following a hit-and-run incident in “The Hitch-hiker”.

Whilst retaining the EC comic book flavour that made the original such a hit, Creepshow 2, this time directed by long-time Romero collaborator Michael Gornick, is a decidedly darker and grimmer affair than its predecessor and remains one of the greatest horror anthologies of all time.

It was written by King but not as a prose story, but as a scenario for Romero to turn into a screenplay. King did the same with Old Chief Woodn'head, The Hitch-Hiker and the wrap-around story for Creepshow 2.

In horror, one name reigns supreme.

The most adorably charming cover art ever is plastered on front of the forthcoming King of Horror Collection Blu-ray set, which will be available on August 29. The set includes four of the most beloved adaptations of King’s stories, and the art mashes together iconic elements from each of them.

There’s a cat from Cat’s Eye. A balloon from IT. The house from Salem’s Lot. And the infamous “Redrum” door from The Shining. I really hope the Photoshop artist made a lot of money for this. Cause it’s amazing. Read on for everything you need to know!

Experience ultimate fear in one 4-film collection! Films include: Salem’s Lot (1979), The Shining (1980), Stephen King’s Cat’s Eye (1985) and Stephen King’s It (1990).

Kind of a random selection (obviously its because WB owns the rights to these specific films). Still kudos I suppose in marketing The Shining as a King film, 9 times out of 10 people conveniently neglect to mention who wrote the original story and act like Kubrick did it from the ground up.

U.S. label Scream Factory has dated its upcoming Collector's Edition of director Rob Reiner's film Misery (1990), starring James Caan, Kathy Bates, Richard Farnsworth, Frances Sternhagen, and Lauren Bacall. The release will be available for purchase on November 28.

Supplemental features to be included on this upcoming release have not yet been finalized and will be revealed at a later time. However, the label has confirmed that it is preparing a NEW 4K film transfer, and has already completed a NEW interview with Director Rob Reiner.

Also included with this announcement is the newly commissioned official artwork for the upcoming release from artist Joel Robinson. (The reverse side will have the original poster art).

Synopsis: A "heart-stopping psychological thriller" (Joel Siegel), this Academy Award-winning film is "one of the best horror movies" (Time) ever. Adapted from a Stephen King novel by Oscar-winning screenwriter William Goldman (All The President's Men) and directed by Rob Reiner (A Few Good Men), this chiller starring Kathy Bates (Titanic) and James Caan (The Godfather) is "a Hitchcockian kind of cat-and-mouse" (The New York Times) game played between two cunning minds - one as sharp as a tack and the other as blunt as a sledgehammer.

Novelist Paul Sheldon (Cann) doesn't remember the blinding blizzard that sent his car spinning off the road. Nor does he remember being nursed back from unconsciousness. All he remembers is waking up in the home of Annie Wilkes (Bates) - a maniacal fan who is bent on keeping her favorite writer as her personal prisoner...for the rest of his 'cock-a-doodie' life!

Children of the Corn

Synopsis: A young couple travelling cross-country find themselves stranded in the small town of Gatlin, where they meet a mysterious religious cult of children. With no adults in sight the terror brews as the new arrivals find the secrets of the prospering corn fields and the children who inhabit them. Led by the mysterious Isaac and the unhinged Malachi the blood-curdling secrets of the children of Gatlin are soon revealed to their new 'outlander' guests.

Featuring stellar performances from Linda Hamilton (Terminator) and Peter Horton (thirtysomething) and based on a short story by Stephen King, The Children of the Corn is a horror classic that has spawned multiple sequels and imitators, but none as harrowing as this masterpiece of horror.

Children of the Corn is presented on Blu-ray courtesy of Arrow Video with an AVC encoded 1080p transfer in 1.85:1. The insert booklet contains the following verbiage, but be aware that virtually all other information provided by Arrow (including on the cover of the release itself) indicates a 2K restoration, not a 4K restoration:

Children of the Corn was exclusively restored by Arrow Films and is presented in its original aspect ratio of 1.85:1 with 5.1 and 2.0 stereo sound.

The original 35mm camera negative was scanned in 4K resolution at EFilm, Burbank. The film was graded and restored on the Nucoda grading system at R3store Studios, London. Thousands of instances of dirt, debris, scratches and other instances of film wear were repaired or removed through a combination of digital restoration tools and techniques. There are many instances of optical and animated special effects which could only be restored to an extent without creating unwanted digital artifacts.

The original 4 track stereo mix was transferred from the original Dolby mag reels and was remastered to 5.1 by Lakeshore at Deluxe Audio Services, Burbank.

Marty didn't see a whale of a lot of difference between the Starz / Anchor Bay and Image Entertainment Releases, other than relatively minor issues like the difference between 1.85:1 and 1.78:1 aspect ratios, so my comparison will tend to deal with the two previous releases as one entity. That said, I've tried to come close to recreating some of Marty's screenshots from his two reviews so that those interested can do their own side by side (by side) comparisons rather than completely relying on my descriptive powers. There's no doubt that this new transfer decidedly ups the ante in terms of detail and especially fine detail, notably during the many brightly lit outdoor scenes. The restoration has largely eliminated or at least ameliorated some of the age related wear and tear seen in the previous releases, and there's really not any discernable huge damage on display. The palette pops quite pleasingly throughout the presentation, with a few passing exceptions. The Arrow release looks darker than either of the previous releases, something that tends to make the grain field more apparent, which may or may not please individual viewers. There are still some variances in clarity, saturation, and density, as well as intermittent issues with fairly chunky looking grain. I've tried to provide examples of the less pleasing moments in screenshots 16 - 19.

Children of the Corn features a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and LPCM 2.0 mix. While the surround track is not the most consistently immersive offering imaginable (as Marty discussed in his reviews), there is good surround placement of Jonathan Elias' score, as well as some of the ambient environmental sounds out in the cornfield. The over the top finale also offers some good and relatively robust low end activity. Dialogue tends to be anchored front and center in the 5.1 mix, but is always rendered cleanly and is routinely well prioritized. I found the low end a bit more pleasing on this release than Marty evidently did with the previous releases, and I also heard no distortion in the low end.

http://comicbook.com/horror/2017/11/02/stephen-king-silver-bullet-blu-ray-release/

From feature films to TV series, 2017 has been a huge year for Stephen King and a variety of his stories. Next year is going to kick off another huge year for the author, thanks to the announcement that one of his classic films, Silver Bullet, will finally be getting the Blu-ray treatment in January.

The 1985 film based on Cycle of the Werewolf told the tale of a young boy (Corey Haim) relegated to a wheelchair who believed his town was being plagued by a werewolf. The boy's uncle (Gary Busey) was one of the only people to believe the outlandish story, as the two aimed to discover the root of the evil in their community.

In addition to the HD treatment of the original film, the Blu-ray will contain the following features:

Audio Commentary with Director Daniel Attias
The Wolf Within – An Interview with Actor Everett McGill
Full Moon Fever – Interviews with Special Effects Artists Michael McCracken, Jr. and Matthew Mungle
Dino’s Angel Takes on Lycanthropy - Martha De Laurentis Remembers Silver Bullet (25 minutes)
Isolated Score Selections and Audio Interview with Composer Jay Chattaway
Theatrical trailer (HD)
TV Spot
Radio Spot
Still Gallery

Simon Sherry crafted the artwork for the disc, which opts to avoid the traditional theatrical poster.

“[The cover is] an homage to the classic King paperback covers,” Sherry explained. “It was also an opportunity to pay tribute to one of my influences, the legendary Bernie Wrightson, who collaborated with King on the source novella, Cycle of the Werewolf.”

The disc is being released by the Australian distributor Umbrella Entertainment, but the disc is region free, which will allow it to be viewed in Blu-ray players from all countries.

The release of Silver Bullet is only one of many reasons 2018 will be a big year for King, with another reason being the release of the series Castle Rock on Hulu.

The series is set in the fictional town of Castle Rock, ME, which is featured in many of King's most famous stories. Rather than an adaptation of one single narrative, the new series will borrow elements from various characters and storylines from King's works to craft a new experience.

I suspect it could be found on one of the torrent sites, but yeah the end was modified a bit due to the way the miniseries ended. I don't think there will be an official release of the miniseries as it originally aired. Hell, they still haven't released the uncut Needful Things and I'm not even sure why it was cut (quite a bit).

A french fan ordered the DVD and checked. "Golden Years" is 3h56 long, like the copy of the DVD z1 that I have.
It therefore seems to be a long time issue.

We had the same issue in France. About 15 years ago or so, I noticed it and mentionned it to the french publisher of the DVD.
They later contacted me back to thank me, let me know that they did get an incomplete master DVD, and that they were reissued it, fully, both with french and english language.
I therefore have the complete version which is 2h21 + 3h50, therefore 6h09

Maybe this is the only version with the complete miniseries?
I've sent a message to Marsha about it

Gotta love Creepshow: the way they presented the stories, the camera angles, special effects, etc., all of it, and a great cast. This was one of those movies I'd have expected to not turn out correctly because there was no way that everyone involved could "get" what they were supposed to be making - but instead, everyone nailed it, and we got what we were supposed to get.

Just under a month after the first season came to an end, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has revealed the details for the Blu-Ray and DVD versions of Castle Rock: The Complete First Season, which is set to hit shelves on January 8, 2019! The series will be available to own digitally on October 15.

A psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse, the series combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King’s best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland. The fictional Maine town of Castle Rock has figured prominently in King’s literary career: Cujo, The Dark Half, IT and Needful Things, as well as novella The Body and numerous short stories such as Rita Hayworth and The Shawshank Redemption are either set there or contain references to Castle Rock. Castle Rock is an original suspense/thriller — a first-of-its-kind reimagining that explores the themes and worlds uniting the entire King canon, while brushing up against some of his most iconic and beloved stories.

The series stars André Holland, Melanie Lynskey, Sissy Spacek, Bill Skarsgĺrd, Jane Levy and Scott Glenn.

Sam Shaw & Dustin Thomason developed the project for television and serve as executive producers along with J.J. Abrams, Ben Stephenson and Liz Glotzer. Castle Rock is from Bad Robot Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television.

The digital release, which is available for purchase beginning Oct. 15, the DVD and the Blu-Ray editions of the first season include all 10 one-hour episodes of the season, as well as a slew of bonus materials, listed below:

Scream Factory has detailed its upcoming Collector's Edition of Mick Garris' thriller Sleepwalkers (1992), starring Alice Krige, Brian Krause, Mädchen Amick, Lyman Ward, and Cindy Pickett. The release will be available for purchase on November 6.

https://www.iconvsicon.com/2019/05/15/stanley-kubricks-the-shining-to-receive-4k-ultra-hd-blu-ray-release-on-october-1st/

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment announced today that The Shining, Stanley Kubrick’s terrifying 1980 horror masterpiece, will be released on Ultra HD Blu-ray and Digital on October 1. The 4K remastering is of Kubrick’s original 146 minute version of the film which premiered in the United States on May 23rd, 1980.

Now widely regarded as one of the greatest horror films ever made, The Shining was directed and produced by Kubrick, who wrote the screenplay with Diane Johnson. The film was based on the novel “The Shining” by Stephen King, and stars Jack Nicholson in an iconic role as Jack Torrance, Shelley Duval as Wendy Torrance, Scatman Crothers as Dick Halloran, and Danny Lloyd as Danny Torrance.

The 4K remastering was done using a new 4K scan of the original 35mm camera negative at Warner Bros. Motion Picture Imaging. Filmmaker Steven Spielberg and Stanley Kubrick’s former personal assistant Leon Vitali worked closely with the team at Warner Bros. during the mastering process.

On May 17th, the restored 4K version of the film will be screened at The Cannes Film Festival.

In 2018, The Shining was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being “culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant.” The film ranked 29th on AFI’s 100 Years…100 Thrills list, and Jack Torrance was named the 25th greatest villain on the AFI’s 100 Years…100 Heroes and Villains list. Additionally, the quote “Here’s Johnny” from the film was ranked 68th on AFI’s 100 Years…100 Movie Quotes list.

Ultra HD* showcases 4K resolution with High Dynamic Range (HDR) and a wider color spectrum, offering consumers brighter, deeper, more lifelike colors for a home entertainment viewing experience like never before.

The Shining Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack features an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc with the feature film in 4K with HDR, a Blu-ray disc with the film in high definition and the special features in high definition, and a Digital version of the movie. Fans can also own The Shining in 4K Ultra HD via purchase from select digital retailers beginning on October 1. The Ultra HD Blu-ray of The Shining will include more than three hours of previously released special features.

SYNOPSIS
Jack Torrance (Jack Nicholson) becomes the winter caretaker at the isolated Overlook Hotel in Colorado, hoping to cure his writer’s block. He settles in along with his wife, Wendy (Shelley Duvall), and his son, Danny (Danny Lloyd), who is plagued by psychic premonitions. As Jack’s writing goes nowhere and Danny’s visions become more disturbing, Jack discovers the hotel’s dark secrets and begins to unravel into a homicidal maniac hell-bent on terrorizing his family.

I guess it's like Lord of the Rings. A lot of the Tolkien fans loathe the Peter Jackson films.

I do wonder why King hates The Shining if he's going to praise stuff like The Dark Tower film or shows like The Mist. I'm no fan of Kubrick's film but I'd say it's far more reverential to what he wrote than those other examples. (Although maybe it's just a formality on King's part, him dissing stuff in the social media age would probably cause a fair amount of unwanted controversy.)

I believe he "plays ball" by being positive during the initial release (and prerelease) period, when his participation in promotion will have an effect, and out of respect for the producers/filmmakers. As for Kubrick's film, I wonder how long King waited to begin trashing it (perhaps he played ball for a while then, too).

Speaking of things I'm too lazy to research myself, I wonder what King adaptations predate Kubrick's; is it possible that King was actually surprised that an adaptation could turn out to be unfaithful to his work (certainly a frequent occurrence later on)?

Pretty much as simple as he didnt like that Hollywood crazy man Jack was crazy from the beginning right?

That's the main problem. He also didn't like Wendy becoming a dishrag/zombie (I forget his exact phrasing). I forget how King described the overall problem, but if I were to describe the change, I would say Kubrick changed the story's heart from one of love to one of distance/alienation.

Well, MR MERCEDES is definitely a mysterious weird release in France.

The american DVD has a french audiotrack and subtitles.
The season 1 was released, in french, in canada and in belgium.
In France?

Nothing.

And since last month, it is only available on streaming.
Via Apple TV, with the StarzPlay option.
I heard that it may also work on Amazon Prime with the StarzPlay option... but I cant confirm it.

Exact technical specs and supplemental features have not yet been finalized, but the label has confirmed that director Lambert is "on board and very excited about the release".

Synopsis: Sometimes dead is better. But the shocking terror that plagued Ludlow, Maine, in Pet Sematary is still very much alive in this sequel to the 1989 hit film.

After the death of his wife, veterinarian Chase Matthews (Anthony Edwards, Zodiac) and his 13-year-old son, Jeff (Edward Furlong, Terminator: Dark Fate), move to Ludlow to rebuild their lives. Antagonized by the neighborhood kids, Jeff befriends another outsider, Drew Gilbert, who lives in fear of his cruel stepfather, Gus (Clancy Brown, John Dies At The End). After Gus cold-bloodedly shoots Drew's beloved dog, the boys bury the body in the local Indian burial grounds – a place rumored to have the powers of resurrection. This product lists the 4K Ultra as separate from BR and DVD. I'm familiar with 4k TVs, but what exactly is the 4K when one buys a movie like this? Is it a different format of disc? Something else?
Yes. It is a different disk and you have to have the right equipment to play it on. 4k has about 4 times the pixels that BR has so if done right, the picture looks much better then BR.

FRANKENSTEIN THE TRUE STORY is coming out in the Blu-Ray format on March 24, 2020, still at 183 minutes, the same as the 2006 DVD release.
There was some controversy about this being a slightly chopped up version missing ten or fifteen minutes from the original, but I'll probably still buy it anyway.

Yea. Missing running commentary by director and film scholars, documentaries and making-of behind the scenes features, better sound and picture, get to own the film whether you have Netflix or not. You can let friends and family that do not have Netflix borrow it. Can watch it in places that do not have internet (cabin or RV).

Oh . . . And you can still watch it if your internet goes out temporarily or forever.

Check out David Lynch's Wild at Heart, Mel Gibson's Apocalypto, Ron Howard's Cocoon, Kevin Smith's Dogma, Pink Floyd's The Wall, Peter Bogdanovich's Mask, "comedy classics" Better Off Dead and Revenge of the Nerds on streaming. You are out of luck on streaming. Not available at all (or very limited) I can slip in my old outdated DVD or import blu-ray and watch anytime I feel like it.

In regard to this digital vs physical medium discussion I have a cautionary tale for all you digital fans. When all this digital content first became available I purchased 8 or 10 titles including "IT Pt I" thru Directv about a year year and half ago. I had purchased "It" in December of the prior year and went to watch it again in June of the following. When I went to view it, the system asked me to purchase the film again. Confused, I contacted, Directv and began what ended up being a two week customer Svc call to regain my rights to all 8 or so films (turned out the system had all of the purchases as "expired".) I finally spoke with a Sr. programmer (a former DTV employee, not AT&T) who advised me that all purchases in the system were only given 6 mos of viewing rights!!!! He finally made things right by refunding the purchase prices I had paid for all the titles. Apparently, the programmers didn't quite understand the concept of "Purchasing" the film in digital form!!! LOL
\
Since then, I have never gone back to purchasing digital content. I went back to my tried and trus practice of buying the Blu-Ray/DVD edition of movies. My point being whether its stupid programmers, Server/Hard Drive failure, Corporate mergers/acquisitions or power outages what do you people purchasing digital content thru your service of choice do if your content suddenly "goes away" and you have no record of the purchase or any valid means to demand satisfaction, return of your funds or replacement of the content? It could all just disappear at any time for a number of reasons and you've given over your hard earned cash?

What's the best conventionally available edition of the It TV miniseries out there? I think there was a gift set with a shirt etc.; I have no interest in extras like that, but I do care about things like extra features or improved video/audio quality. Amazon kind of lumps them all together, tough to tell what's what.

I prefer Blu-Ray but am willing to consider a DVD if the DVD had features not yet available on Blu-Ray.

In France, the dvd and bluray version used a newly recorded audio track, which do not have the same character, IMO, than the tape one !
Luckily, someone shared a vhsrip a few years back. Quality is definitely different, but... it's the version I grew up with.

My apologies, that wasnt the answer you were looking for !

The Blu-ray is what you're going to want to go for. As for editions the disc is the same they've just released versions with different packaging (mainly different steelbooks) so it doesn't really matter which one (one steelbook is currently available on the Best Buy website). In addition to the improved video/audio quality it has the proper aspect ratio; the DVD is widescreen and cuts off the top and bottom. The Blu-ray and DVD both come with the same bonus features which is a commentary track with the director and a few of the actors.

One caveat which is present on both DVD and Blu-ray is that they present it as one long "movie" as opposed to two separate parts; they cut out the credits and the opening minutes of part 2. So those are only on the VHS copy currently but someone put the footage on YouTube below.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is preparing a 4K Blu-ray release of Frank Darabont's The Shawshank Redemption (1994), starring Tim Robbins, Morgan Freeman, Bob Gunton, William Sadler, and Clancy Brown. Currently, the release is set to arrive on the market on September 14.

Synopsis: Few movies capture the triumph of the human spirit as memorably as Frank Darabont's film The Shawshank Redemption from the same Stephen King story collection that gave us Stand By Me. Morgan Freeman plays Red, a lifer who knows how to cope with the bleak hopelessness of Shawshank State Prison. Tim Robbins plays new inmate Andy, a quiet banker convicted of murders he didn't commit - and whose indomitable will earn Red's respect and friendship. Andy's resourfulness brings hope and change to the entire prison. He's full of surprises. And the best comes last, leading to one of the most satisfying finales in film history.

Watched Stand By Me on Blu-Ray last night, it looks great! After having just re-listened to The Body I think this is one of the best adaptations of an SK book, lots of dialogue straight from the text. Wish there were more like that.

So, "Chapelwaite" is only available on streaming in the USA (Epix) and Europe (Amazon Prime Video), but did you know there is a bluray & dvd version in Australia (https://viavision.com.au/shop/chapelwaite-season-one-blu-ray/)?
And, to be confirmed, but a website says that it's zone free !

Scream Factory and Shout Factory have revealed several upcoming 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases that will be available for purchase this June. Among them are: Shaw Brothers Collection: Volume One, Motel Hell, Creepshow, and Private Parts.

Creepshow 4K Blu-ray

Masters of the macabre – writer Stephen King and director George A. Romero – conjure up five shocking yarns, each a virtuoso exercise in the ghouls-and-gags style of classic '50s horror comics. A murdered man emerges from the grave for Father's Day cake. A meteor's ooze makes everything ... grow. A professor selects his wife as a snack for a crated creature. A scheming husband plants two lovers up to their necks in terror. A malevolent millionaire with an insect phobia becomes the prey of a cockroach army. Add the spirited performances of an excellent cast (Hal Holbrook, Adrienne Barbeau, Leslie Nielsen, Ted Danson, E.G. Marshall and King himself) and the ghoulish makeup wizardry of Tom Savini, and you have a non-stop, thrilling ride that "plays like an anthology of human phobias" (Roger Ebert)!
