Unless I'm missing something than I know regular members and facilitators can't see who someone is messaging. I'm not sure about others.

Well, ok, not years - but not days, either.

In about three or four weeks it dawned upon me that I had acquired some kind of notoriety that would make any name change pointless. I PMed the same admin, thanked that (really very kind and obliging, by the way) person and said no further actions were necessary, or even desirable.

If you're still with me, here comes the glorious Part Two!

When I signed up with this site, I was so exhausted, both physically, mentally and emotionally - it was a real hard day's night - and, naturally, I spelled my name with a lowercase j.

Your story about kind of "falling through the cracks" is very common from what I have seen. Our main goal is to always be here for the members and address their concerns same day if possible.

At TDT.net, it only shows new posts (= the ones you haven't read) once, and if you click it again, it's only the posts that appeared since your last click. And here I can click on New Posts till I am blue in the face - it will bring the same results till I finally get around to actually reading them. The people. This is one of the nicest boards I've ever been to, and I've been to lots.


The last board I used to go to (Facepunch) had nasty (or should I say nazi) mods. You were banned for things you couldn't even imagine being seen as offensive. And then the assholes came. Well, point is that this is a laidback board with nice people and great mods.

I've also been to a few 40k related boards. They were nice, but the mods were stricter (sort of like the 40k universe I guess :/) and there was a lot of CHATSP33K.

This board just has it all. I don't feel 100% comfortable yet though, as I haven't read all 7 books. I'm still a little scared of spoilers :)

Reputation points can be given by clicking the "Star" in the bottom left corner of every post. You can type a cute message or w/e and it will add points to the member's "Board Reputation" thereby increasing the amount of green boxes under your member name. If you hover the pointer over the green box it tells you the individuals current level of Reputation.

Kinda cool and different way to sort of PM, I guess. Just Random Board Coolness!!!! LOL
