As much as The Shining is great, The Green Mile for me. An amazing book and I'm saddened bears don't appreciate it.

Ugh but the looks of it The Green Mile will end up 0 for 9.

This is , by the way, the battle of the zeroes. Neither book has earned a point in Round 3 up till now. So only one will now remain.

I never thought I'd see the day when The Shining would go 1 for 9 or whatever in a "battle of the books."

Green Mile. Although The Shining is one of my tops and I do re-read from time to time, The Green Mile touched my soul. The movie adaptation is excellent in my opinion. No matter how many times I read or see this story I bawl my head off every time

This was Green Mile's perhaps best chance to earn a win this round. Looks like it will get shutout after all. :cry:
