I haven't read this since it's release and the story still resonates with me. Easy vote on this one.

Hopefully I can finish the book by the time the voting stops...I just started it the other day, and am already loving it! Read 200 pages in one sitting!

One of the first King books I read years ago. I picked it up again reading the tower series to 4, then Talisman and Black House before finishing DT. I always remember Black House as being very scary (from first read). While not as scary now that I'm an adult, I still loved the book. It made much more sense reading Talisman first. AAA

A A A for sure. Top-tier King. (Much better than The Talisman.)

A little weak at the ending, (or, a little weak around the ending, depending on how you define "the ending") but it doesn't matter. Definitely one of his very best novels.

AAB. The VERY end was pretty good, but the preceding 50 pages or so were the weakest of the whole reading experience for me.
