Hi, is there an official list of Stephen King Portfolio's?

I know of the following...

1. The Stand by Bernie Wrightson
2. Cycle of the Werewolf by Bernie Wrightson
3. Wasteland by Ned Dameron
4. Insomnia by Phil Hale
5. IT: 25th Anniversary Edition by Glen Orbik, Alan M. Clark, and Erin Wells

I'm sure there is somewhere. Have you checked the "Stephen King Catalog"? If not there should be I would think.

Then again, its a lot of work for one person. Nevertheless, may be a great addition. Any takers?

Don't forget the German numbered Eyes of the Dragon portfolio.

Also, there are two different versions of the Stand, Insomnia, and Waste Lands portfolios if I'm not mistaken. I'm pretty sure a comprehensive portfolio overview is buried somewhere in the forum!

Yes, the German Augen des Drachen Portfolio,
limited to 100 and signed from the Artist Johann Peterka
Publisher Edition Phantasia.

Extreme hard to find.

Stephen King is a writer, not an illustrator. He has never produced a portolio.

He has however signed his name to 2 portfolios of illustrators prints, Insomnia and Cycle of the Werewolf.

I think we all know what he meant, MRT. Boo!

To be perfectly pedantic, he asked about "Stephen King Portfolios", which doesn't imply that the art is by Stephen King, any more than asking about "Stephen King Biographies" would imply that I am interested in biographies written by Stephen King.

Thanks for the feedback Mr. Rabbit Trick...yes I do know that Stephen King is a writer and not an illustrator. I just put "Stephen King Portfolio" because that is the way GRANT PUBLISHING identifies the artwork inspired by SK writings (wrapped in a portfolio), so it was good enough for me.

"Pedantic". Now there's a word that doesn't get out and about as much as it should!!! Good job Mr. Fulman!!!!

According to his terms of sale he may or may not actually have the item. I'm guessing not.

I was looking at picking up the Ned Dameron Wastelands Portfolio. I've been poking around for some pics of it, but I haven't seen much. So I wanted to ask the people that have one--do you like it? Would you recommend I get one or pass? I'm planning on placing an order w/ Grant anyway, and thought I'd throw one in too.

Thanks for your help!

According to George Beahm in his Stephen King Collectibles book, there's a porfolio of Christine as well. Nevertheless, I never ever saw a single picture of it.

I think I have some photos of mine in my collection thread (I got the signed Oy print framed). But yes, I'd recommend it. Lots of good artwork and the price is right.

Yes for $30 it is well worth it. My only criticism is that the paper they used to make the portfolio with is lighter weight than expected and the cover art looks like it was printed on an office printer and glued to the cover. However the artwork itself is very nice.

Hi I was trying to find a comprehensive list of Portfolios based on Stephen King books. I am interested to see what is missing from my collection. I am primarily interested in those that collect art from English language Limited Editions or Trade editions of the books.

From this thread, which has been dead for several year I see the following:

(from first post):

1. The Stand by Bernie Wrightson
2. Cycle of the Werewolf by Bernie Wrightson
3. Wasteland by Ned Dameron
4. Insomnia by Phil Hale
5. IT: 25th Anniversary Edition by Glen Orbik, Alan M. Clark, and Erin Wells

From RacerX's post
6. The Dark Man - CD
7. Skeleton Crew - Scream Press

Although not really meeting the criteria of what I am looking for there is also mention of:

8: German Eyes of the Dragon
9: Lawnmower Man by IDW

In addition to these the following have been added since the last post to this thread:

10: Carrie by CD
11: 'Salems's Lot by CD
12: The Shining by CD
13: Eyes of the Dragon by Suntup
14: The Stand - Nakatomi
15: Cycle of the Werewolf - Nakatomi (Kickstarter)

Forthcoming:

16: Sleeping Beauties - CD
17: Night Shift - CD

If anyone else can shed light on any others that are missing, I would be grateful.

I would be interesting in knowing the following information for each (in order of importance)

1) What edition/source it is from
2) Publisher
3) date published
4) issue price
5) limitation/print run
6) Artists
7) Who, if anyone, signed it

If there is a template I can fill out for the Catalog, I would be happy to do it for those I own (although I may not know some of the info). (I own #5,6,10-15)

Hi Brian,

Thanks for the info!

I tried to give you reputation. Got a message saying I can't give reputation on the same post twice, so don't know if that is a glitch in the system.

Thanks,
