4 from me, but I am letting Haven (tv series) influence me on this one.

I agree that Haven has increased my love for this book significantly (although the book and show share approximately 3% in common).

Considering I read it but don't recall much in the way of details--I guess it must have been "average."

Never read. Are there any/many King references in the TV show Haven?

If you are looking for this book don't look in the horror section, you won't find it there. It is in the detective/mystery section.
Solid 5. I love mysteries and this is a good one.

Here is a syfy page with videos on SK references in Haven (http://www.syfy.com/haven/stephenking). In case anyone is wondering, here are the things the book and show have in common:

There is a young woman, and two older men who work at a newspaper. At some point in the past, there was a guy who died under mysterious circumstances, and they call the guy "The Colorado Kid".

phew just caught it, this was a strange little book. It had a lovely meandering story - that told a story for the story sake. And I did actually like it, although i didnt think I would

I got the book due to the programme haven, and although it has a few connections, they are very tenuous.

going off thread for 2 mins sorry - The programme is very good though, I reccomend it to all king readers, they have a connection to any Stephen King book in every episode, and I always try and guess - some are more obvious than others
