In the original listing, we should put the links to the (already) existing threads...

found the following link HERE (http://www.stephen-king.de/illustrationen/index.html)
thing we could continue the forums with some of those, and telling, pictures from the german website.

where are the Body illustrations from???

Good question! The captions underneath the pictures are in English, but I have no idea where these were published.

Could this thread be turned into A STICKY one please?

I've done what I could !

What are missing & that I cannot provide...
- The Body (informations about the book)
- Christine (only the cover is available)
- The Colorado Kid - Chadbourne's
- From A Buick 8 (few pictures... bad quality..= get more picture & better quality?)
- The Green Mile (few pictures... get more?)
- Insomnia (only the cover is available)

however, am just thinking about this RF : i think it would be nice to do not delete the threads, even if do not unclude anything, because they still include some details, and if anyone come and see no pictures, maybe they would like to upload theirs???

Well done guys. Great work.

Suggestion:

Include illustrations/artwork from King's stories in magazines? There are some great ones. (Think about the recent ones in Playboy)

Maybe I'm just looking for an excuse to get my old porn books out again. :orely:

I can help with any you may not have.

I have most of the illustrations from the Cavaliers, Gallery's, etc. available. Just let me know.

why not.. but IMO, would be better to all put them in a same thread called something like "SHORT STORIES illustrations" ???
For instance, Ari's topic for Before the play...

And of course, if you could help with the "empty topics"...

____ btw : i've just updated the list with the ACTUAL names of the threads, and put links to the adequat thread (think so)

Maybe, I'd post pics of the illustrations for My Christine limited, but the book is too tight. I am extremely cautious opening at all and wouldn't want to open it enough to take clear pics.

I do have the gift edition of The 10 yr. Green Mile. I could try to post those at some point.

Dont force anything.. i dont want anyone "hurt" or damage their book...
but if you can open them, even if not widly, takes pictures with a camera (dont have to scann it), it can give some good overview!

--------

Something i dont like about the wikipedia versions : we dont really see easily when someone have posted something, where it is..
I mean... there is no sign near the topics, saying : here there is a new message...
No way to try to do it? would be very useful according to me...

Would it also be able to put a link to this thread (listing) in the main text of the Wiki page?
as well as a link to the Rare Illustrations thread...
just to being able to browse more easily...

:onfire: Can someone tell me an easier way to upload pictures to the forum? I am presently uploading them to imageshack and then individually into a post. There must be an easier and quicker way. I have loads to upload. :onfire:

I am BY FAR NOT the expert here, but when you are in the Collections area, you can go to upload photos. Then you can browse your My Pictures folder on your own computer and upload pics individually to this site and use them in threads.

Kind of a crappy explanation, but that's how I do it.

Thanks Wiz. I've got it sussed now. Pity we cannot upload multiple images at once though.

You should be able to upload as many as you like at once Mr. Rabbit

Its much easier to track comments about the catalogs in the thread I established in the main forum, I'd be happy to talk you through it there.

Ooops, I misunderstood.

I thought he meant posting multiples, not uploading them to the gallery.

sorry about that

Brice

You can upload multiple pictures at photobucket basically as easily as uploading one. I think you can do up to 25 at once. I'm not sure about imageshack.

Matt
12-30-2007, 12:15 PM
Yep.

Okay, I'd really appreciate any further questions being moved out to the main forum. These comments should be about the article in the first post as much as possible. :grouphug:

I've seen it thank you SO MUCH !

I am updating the right threads.. just the one about the Green Mile : dont have the time to do it.. 72 illustrations woaw!

Can you more details about the "illustrations" of Danse Macabre?
Should we include it? I dont really think so, coz... they are pictures from movie, right? and so there is not one illustrator or whatever, just.... right?

I am linking in the right threads, the pictures straight from your galleries, so. dont erase them :-)
Again, thank you so much for your support !

However, no links, coz no threads created yet.

since the wiki version of the threads, i guess that this topic is useless no?

delete it?

herbertwest
01-10-2008, 08:16 AM
OK, I'd like to see the front cover of at least the limited editions which have some illustrations, or of the edition with the illustrations, if those are available in only one of them.. n this for each thread!

(n this topic is useless i guess... please delete it)

Matt

herbertwest

Yep... Useless now, coz we have the wikipedia version... dont you think so?

Matt
01-10-2008, 08:39 AM
I do actually, if they are a match there is no reason for this to be here.

Should we comb it to make sure we got everything--I am just going to move it to the clearing so it will always be on the site.

herbertwest

OKI i knew that it will make some crap even if i followed what have been told to create a new thread....

but anyway the "listing of all illustrations" is useless now with the wiki version of the subforum... but the new thread doesnt have any title...

however, why cant i attach any picture?
saying kind of that i dont have the rights to manage the attachment, ne?

where is the one that would need to be attached (currently on imageshack...)
