I've only read the limited from 1985. Instant classic. Next time I read it, I'll read the '87 version to see the differences.

One of the few King books that I've only read once. And I don't hardly remember it. Since I've never felt compelled to pick it up again and it obviously did not leave much of an impression on me, I must have thought it "average." So, 3.

Gave it a 4. For being what I see as a book geared towards children, I thought it was an excellent read. I liked the plot, and I felt compelled to find out how it all ended up. I have only read this one once, but I think I would still enjoy it as an adult.
