In 1980 I picked up a 1st edition of THE SHINING at a yard sale for 50 cents & KING came to L.A. for the FIRESTARTER tour. First meeting & signing 8/22/1980 at Change of Hobbit in Santa Monica, CALIF and remember that 98% of what you will see in this collection was bought before 1996 and the internet.

Very nice collection! I have a very fine 2001 1st edition also, and some of those pictured, but only about one tenth of them! I love the Forbidden Planet stuff. I never opened my 50th anniversary DVD though. Did you? I'd like to see what's inside! Did you get all those autographs personally?

NO THANK YOU I realy stoped collecting about 16 years ago. Only pick up KING S/L and Movies to watch. I can not see spending $30 for a book or $4.95 for a magazine that you can pick up on the internet a year later for .75 and the same with my tie-in collection. Why buy a book when you can own the movie in letterbox and 7.1 sound?
