This one was excellent! There was no "supernatural" element but man was it intense and scary as all get out! What a read.

Same here. I remember intensely enjoying this one - but I haven't reread it yet. Maybe I should put it in my stack of books to read.

5! One of my favorites. Short and sweet, no filler. Great idea and story.
This is one of the few that made me think about the story...nay, daydream...when I wasn't reading it. I read a lot of King during school but sometimes I got caught and had to fly right for a class or two. That is when I day dreamed.
A 4.

This is my favorite Bachman book. I had read this many years ago, and finally re-read it last year. Still a winner.

... It will be moving on to Round 2.
Woo hoo!
This novel has had a surprisingly strong showing in all three of our Constant Reader Awards for a novel that's not very widely known. In 2009, The Long Walk finished in 7th place, and went down into 14th in 2010.

And I'm hoping it does even better this year! :D
Yeah, it fell out of the top-ten last year, so it didn't participate in the third round. We'll see how it does this time...
