This friend likes to make the cat chase after the beam from those laser pointers, and the the damn thing will pounce on whatever the beam happens to be lighting. Now I was sitting on the sofa watching a movie, minding my own business, when I have one of those moments where you know pain is coming, but it takes you about a second to feel it....THAT DAMN CAT HAD SANK IT'S DAMN CLAWS INTO THE SMALL OF MY BACK! Obviously my friend had pointed the laser on me, and obviously this did not help cats get on my good side. :)

There was this girl preaching gay rights , and although I have nothing wrong with gay activists and I think its a great cause, she followed that up with a racial slur. So I said 'So its not ok to make a gay joke, but ethnic jokes are perfectly fine I guess.' and she just kind of gave me 'the look' and walked away.

I understand humans in general are hypocritical, but she was just so blatant about it I couldnt help myself. It'll probably bite me in the ass somewhere down the line.

I hate this too. It's gotten so bad in the past year that I have stopped waiting on customers at work when they are on their cellphones. I will just pretend they are not their and will call the person behind them to the counter. It really pisses people off, but I hate asking them a question 20 times because they are so busy chatting away. I always get off my phone before I talk to someone in a customer service position.
