Dexter just got nominated for Best Drama Series and Best Actor in the Golden Globes.

Go Dex! This Sunday's season finale was tense!

The season finale was okay this year, probably the weakest they've done yet. But I loved the last few minutes of it. The season was good though start to finish.

Dexter.

Um, you can basically buy a Golden Globe, so well ....

True, but in this case the nomination is very much deserved. Have you ever watched an episode of Dexter, Pam ? You can pretty much watch any episode and you're bound to find a nomination-worthy performance by Hall. Week in and week out, he's that good.

I wouldn't look down on the Golden Globes too much, Pam. (And I can guess the four words everyone's thinking right now, so stop it!) Remember which of our favourite shows is the only British show to win it, after all, especially surprising when no one had heard of it at the time?

Stephen King picked Dexter as his #6 series of 2010:

Season 4 featured the brilliant John Lithgow as the Trinity Killer, and probably the most shocking finale of last year. Michael C. Hall is consistently terrific in season 5 as a serial killer bringing up baby in suburban Miami. Props also to Jennifer Carpenter, who plays Dexter's foulmouthed sister, Debra.

 Yeah, it was fluke.
Sincerely, Sharon Stone got "caught" buying very expensive watches for all the members when she was nominated for Casino.

DEXTERR!!!!

Seconded :)

These second round polls all seem to be much closer. I guess that makes sense, though, of course, since most lesser series were weeded out (and some deserving ones were upset by underdogs - grumble-grumble).

Yeah, I think we're getting into the shows that more people have watched and therefore, more people have an emotional connection to them.

Well, it's a shame Torchwood is out already, but up against Dexter I really can't say I'm surprised, from all the things I've heard about the show. Still, it did better than I thought, being only two votes behind. And I didn't even vote in this round!
