I finally have the last of the my bookcases together, or at least until I run out of room on these. Not sure where the next one will go.

I have been admiring all of your collections for some time and I figured it was time I share some of my collection with everyone here. I don't have anything extravagant or out of the ordinary but I am proud of what I have a collected so far and continue to try and expand. I have just a few 1st editions left to obtain (Carrie, Salem's Lot, Night Shift, and The Gunslinger) and would like to start collecting some of the Signed/Limited Editions.

I will start with a few pictures of the cases and get into more detailed photos from there.

Enjoy.

Wow! Those bookcases look great. Congratulations.

You need to get busy though. I still see some empty space for more books.

Those are great looking bookshelves! I like darker wood and especially the glass fronts. I wish I had the room to put all my Kings in a row like that, instead of spread out here and there. Maybe I'll use your pictures as an inspiration and start doing some heavy rearanging around here. (But I doubt it...)

Love the new bookcases! And you appear to have a lot of them, too. Very impressive.

I look forward to seeing your individual books posted here.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. I am very happy with how the bookcases turned out and I was relieved that I still had a little room for expansion. The only thing left to do with the cases (besides add more books) is get some handles but I am having a hard time trying to decide what would look good with cases and that relates to the content in the cases.

I will start out with pictures of the Hard Cover Trade Editions, most of them 1st/1st. Only need Carrie, 'Salem's Lot, and Night Shift.

Here are my Dark Tower Books. The first picture is the Grant Editions and the second is the Viking and Scribner Editions along with a few books about the Dark Tower series. Just need a 1st edition of The Gunslinger to complete the set.

Here is one of my favorites, and until the shelves get filled it will have it's own shelf, unless of course I can get the S/L of this book which will then takes it's place. This is my favorite SK book and thanks to a member here I was able to get the 1st Edition with Custom Traycase.

And now to end with a "fun" picture. Notice the 3rd place trophy in the middle from last years football contest. I have plenty of room to fit the 1st place trophy for this year right next to it.

Next up will be the Gift/Limited Editions but we will save that for another day.

I will do only one question at a time:
Number 1 - What is that edition of SALEM'S LOT between THE COLORADO KID and CELL?

That's the Salem's Lot Illustrated Edition - http://www.thedarktower.org/palaver/showwiki.php?title=Salems+Lot+Illustrated+-+Trade+HC

It was published in 2005 and includes "previously unpublished material" along with a new introduction by SK. It includes the stories One For The Road and Jerusalem's Lot along with Deleted Scenes from the original publication.

Viking did reprint DTI-DTIV (they did not do DTV, DTVI, or DTVII. The Viking DTI is the "Revised Gunslinger".
Check out the Catalog:
