X-MEN.

An animated show that was way ahead of it's time. It perfectly balanced action set pieces with character development and intertwining story arcs. The voice casting was pitch perfect true. Just an all around great show.

I was always a big fan of X-Men - whether it was the comics, the cartoon, or the movies.

I probably watched KOTH more, but every time I watched X-Men, I enjoyed in much more

Loved X-Men but King of the Hill is the funniest animated series after The Simpsons.

I think with King of the Hill, it helped a lot if you lived in the US and "got" that kind of culture. I never really found it that funny, but then I expect a lot of Americans wouldn't find the Royle Family very funny, considering nearly all the episodes are entirely set within just the one room: the sitting room where a normal Northern English family watches tv and talk about their day, and yet I think it's one of the most hysterical shows I've ever watched.

Went with X-Men because, like feev said, it was very ahead of its time and very complex for an animated show. Certainly more enjoyable for me to watch than the movies, at least. I liked the first 2 enough, but Last Stand was pretty...meh.

I voted for X-Men. I loved it.

Now I have the theme music stuck in my head.

King of the Hill by far. I love it. It's about the only animated show where the characters age (though, not fast) and grow and learn life lesson's along the way. It's quite the beautiful show.

King of the Hill - I like watching stories about "average American Joe" (precisely because the culture that is shown differs from ours, and yet a great deal of problems are universal - it's just the manifestation of these problems that might be different). Also, I'm a big fan of animated films/shows/series in general.

X-Men : they're actually pretty well written, and though the animation could use some work ( ) the plots and stories and voice acting is tops.

You really voted for X-Men because they did a Dark Phoenix arc, didn't you? :P

Very close, surprisingly but that's what makes this fun. Also, this is I believe our first matchup of two animated series.

I love them both, but had to go with X-Men, it's when I fell in love with the Gambit/Rogue storyline.

King of the Hill better win. X-men was good...when I was 8. Can't really watch it anymore. I'll never get sick of watching King of the Hill.

It's interesting because I know on other message boards I post on, King of the Hill would have won in a landslide.
