I really don't think of the Cure as goth, because of all the upbeat dreampop songs they've recorded. And Adam's Song is really sad.

Hawaii people do it alliteratively?
You've never listened to him? Its real mellow acoustic music but with a lot of subtleties. He used to surf semi professionally and got cut up really bad on a reef. While he was recovering he started writing songs, became friends with Ben Harper, and ended up creating in his own niche.
It relaxes me quite a bit and I really respect him and his philosophies.

See I DO think of the cure as goth cause I try to ignore all of Robert Smiths poppier stuff and stick to Killing an arab and From the edge of a deep green sea and A forest
I try to pretend songs like The Lovebirds and Shake your head lets go to bed dont actually exist:pirate: at least not in my sphere of reality
