I've only seen the Addams Family movies (both). Caught a few glimpses of the TV show, and was very disappointed, so didn't watch it

Voted for The Addams Family.
Even though I liked it less than the movies, it was moderately fun to watch.

These are both really good shows. I'm sorry to see them end up against each other so early on. But I had to go with The Addams Family :)

Well, to me, this is nearly as unreasonable as it'd be for The Munsters to defeat The Twilight Zone.

These are programs of two relatively distinct types, but within each, The Addams Family was a trend-setter while The Outer Limits was a watered-down echo.

I like them both but had to vote OL. Just because I love weird anthology series, and while it might've been watering down of The Twilight Zone, so much so that oftentimes people confuse which series had which episodes, it's still an exciting and well-made series. Plus, that opening...

I love both. I voted The Outer Limits though.

...while it might've been watering down of The Twilight Zone, so much so that oftentimes people confuse which series had which episodes, it's still an exciting and well-made series. ...But less so. That's the important point; not just that TZ was the original, but that OL was, to me, not as good.

Plus, The Addams Family was a great spoof on regular sitcoms, and you can still see its influence in some shows today.

But The Outer Limits was not all bad. I guess I'm not unhappy that it's likely to advance. Just certainly not happy that it's so far ahead in this poll.

I just think most people don't really appreciate AF the way you do. And I agree, both are great shows. Would be happy with either advancing.

The Outer Limits is moving on to Round 2, having received 19 votes (61.29%).
