Good things come to those who wait. I don't suppose most of these shows aired in Russia, at least the pre-1990s stuff. If anything this tournament will enable you to discover some new things to watch.

I never watch television anyway, and watching a series on a regular basis would be out of the question - I'll download the ones you my dear friends recommend

Family Ties is quintessential 80s fare... a virtual portrait of American experience. MST3K is basically a contrivance, but amusing, popular, and ongoing. I expect it'll knock FT right out of here early, which is kind of a shame.

I fully agree. I used to watch both, and liked both for different reasons. Voted FT.
