Does anyone watch this FX show? I started watching in season two and am hooked. Now I joke with my wife that I am going to get a motorcycle.

If you were not already watching, did you watch tonight's episode just to see Stephen King's cameo?

I've seen it from the beginning and I like it a lot. I have no interest in getting a motorcycle, but I like the way they humanize some very bad people.

I've been watching it from the beginning. It's one of the few shows I actually make time to watch anymore.

What's funny is my wife picked up on the name Bachman before I did. As soon as Tig said it she said "That must be him".

Never watched before I seen the media response to King's episode. The wife and I decided to start with show number 1 and watch till current. I can honestly say that is all the tv we have seen in the last 3 days. 26 shows straight, 6 more to go till up to date. It is much more addictive than I planned, and it has some awesome soundtrack music.

SK did do a pretty awesome job. I love his writing but his acting... Let's just say I normally I cringe when he pops up in one of his movies. I think dark, creepy, and with few lines is the way all of his cameos should be.

Also, it cracked me up that they asked him to grab that lady's boobs. I wonder what Tabby thought of that.

Hannah

I loved the SK cameo. He was super creepy and the acting was great. I think he plays creepy very well.

On the show in general: did Gemma have a heart attack last week? Someone told me she had a heart transplant and that is what the scar on her chest is from, but I don't remember catching that in any of the episodes. Does anyone know?

Bev Vincent
10-04-2010, 09:39 AM
It sure looked like a heart attack. According to Wikipedia: "Gemma has a genetic heart disorder which she passed on to her children, and of which Thomas died in 1990." I read elsewhere that the scar is from open heart surgery.

A "cleaner" character like Bachman made an appearance on Rubicon last night. Must be becoming a popular profession. This time we got to hear the sounds of an electric saw in the distance as he did his work. That was the one thing I thought was missing from Steve's cameo -- gruesome sound effects from the basement!

I loved the first 2 seasons of Sons, but I just cannot get into it as much this season. I think it's gotten ridiculous. Jax's baby is kidnapped, and he's like, "LOL, I'mma make fun of the new prospects and bang some broads". And I thought last night's episode was all shock value and no substance. It went from interestingly unrealistic to absurdly unrealistic in the span of about 5 episodes. Also, at the end of each episode, I always feel like nothing even happened. They could have condensed all of the stuff that's happened so far this season into 3 episodes. I dunno. Unless they reel it in a little, I think I may be done after this season.

At first I was ready to be horribly angry with this season's finale tonight, but the last 15 mins or so were goddamned amazing and totally made up for it. I didn't expect it at all.

I was sooooo happy to see Agent Stahl get her annoying brains blown out the front of her head and I was really glad that Chibs got to kill Jimmy.

Yeah, one of the better season finale's I can recall. The story wound around very cleverly and they wrapped up the story arc without leaving you with a huge cliff-hanger, which was nice for a change. I have loved this show from the very first episode of season 1!!!!!!!

I just finished up watching in its entirety seasons 1 - 3 of Sons of Anarchy - just in time for last night's Season 4 opener. The SAMCRO members get out of jail after 14 months and at first it seemed a rather tame episode! All I'll say is it wasn't and I am already looking forward to next week!

New Charming Mayor, Jax has a second son, Opie gets hitched, Jax gets his locks trimmed, a new Cop in town, a new and nasty ADA (with task force), and the old Police Chief is retired but still ticking fromt eh ravages of cancer! Oh, add in some guns, bullets, blood (lots of blood), police blunders, knives (the one in the ear was spectacular) and exterminations! Not bad for a season starter!

Wow no comments in three weeks! I think that This season is turning out just as good as last! I was wondering where they were going with it and what continuing storylines would carry over. Also I see that another season (and 13 more episodes) next year is already in the books.

A few great story lines to play out:

What is the fate of Juice? I can see him buying the farm! Don't want to but see it's a possibility - after all they let Piney buy the farm and I thought he was key to the show!

Who is gonna (at least try) to take out Clay? That son of a bitch needs to go! Jax ? Opie? Bobby? Gemma? Unser? DA Lincoln's crew? ...

The hit on Tara (and Jax) - once again Clay puts into motion something out of his control! I can't see Tara or jax biting the bullet - can't wait til next week's episode to see how this one plays out! And with a new season on the books I cannot see jax getting out of SAMCRO - ever!

What about that kiss between Gemma and Unser? There is more to this tale - at least the backstory!

Who's the baddest guy on the law enforcement side - I originally thought new Sheriff Roosevelt, but he has shown some compassion for Juice. Now DA Lincoln - that man is effed up and doesn't care who goes down in his quest! He is the new Agent Stahl! And should perhaps see the same fate!

The Cartel and the drug business in general - it seems SAMCRO are really little fish in a big sea right now!

Bev Vincent
11-04-2011, 06:09 AM
It's hard to figure how the Clay story is going to play out. Just when it seems like he's gone a step too far, someone steps in to clean up his mess. Usually Jemma and/or Unser. That kiss--there has been allusions to something going on between them in the past. He has always mooned around her like a lovelorn puppy dog. I think we've hit our quote of regulars getting offed this season, but I could be wrong. This is a grittier season, I find. Last year we rooted for SAMCRO. This year they're just a bunch of thugs for the most part and I find it hard to root for the gang. Individuals, yes, but the club has gone above and beyond, mostly because of Clay.

Hannah
11-05-2011, 05:32 PM
I hope Unser finally steps up and stands up to Clay. That would be a nice development for his character and how spineless he's been throughoutt the show about doing whatever Clay wants him to do.

Those last 10 seconds, holy cow. I didn't expect that to happen.

I'm not sure Clay is dead. The middle of the preview had Jax yelling "Call an ambulance" and that may be his reaction to the shooting, even though it's out of sequence. I've been wondering how they can possibly remediate Clay given all the nasty shit he's done this season and maybe this is it. His comeuppance. All the secrets come out. He'll be sidelined and, likely replaced--but probably not by Bobby, since he's getting his own little comeuppance. At first I thought that not much was happening in the episode. Then it all hit the fan.

CRinVA
12-01-2011, 09:38 AM
Ok half of the season finale is over and still Clay is not Dead! Why Why Why - but he may still be dead by the end of the next episode. Or not! Who knows where the storyline is going. Juice and Bobby in jail - not looking to good - Tara has a plan to kill Clay finally, Jemma has hidden from Jax part of the whole "who killed John" story but Tara knows, and the previews show Jax holdng a big ass knife at Clay's throat!

I was also supprised at how submissive Opie was after Jax stopped him from finishing Clay off!
The onle thing I want to see cleared up is the end of the damn DA - that man is bad bad bad!

Bev Vincent
12-01-2011, 09:59 AM

Bev Vincent

I thought the first 10 minutes or so were brilliant. They turned everything upside down and undid everyone's plans. the last 10 minutes felt padded. I could have done without the musical montage. SAMCRO is looking pretty pale around the table, though. So many empty chairs. I was hoping Opie would show up at the last moment but I guess they had to leave at one thing unresolved. I still don't completely buy Tara as a motorcycle club's old woman, thought

CRinVA
12-07-2011, 08:35 AM
Bev I agree completely - this season finale does not compare to last season's whatsoever. That being said I was totally thrown off guard with the whole Cartel/CIA and Jax you're dammed if you do, dammed if you don't position. I am glad he told Tara - sorry that he had to ask Opie to Trust him. Opie has heard it before. I suspect next season will be a lot about Opie. It was sad to see Bobby sitting in jail strumming a guitar and sadder to see the empty chairs around the table! And speaking of Tara - well she has changed in the last two episodes - after all she gave Jax the way to eliminate Clay without laying suspicion on himself. Does she become the new Gemma!!!!

I really loved it when the ADA dropped all the porn paraphanelia at the town supervisors meeting and telling Hale that he did it because he didnt like him and the good guys needed a win! It's the only decent thing he has done all season.

And its funny that the sheriff just wants to get back to watching the SAMCRO crooks break the law and catching them - as he told Juice!

Now the long wait until Season 5! So what to watch now?

I'm thinking that the new series coming out in January Alcatraz looks promising! And hopefully American Horror will end their season with a bang!

The Jimmy Smits character (Nero) seems interesting. Clay looks pretty rough. It's ironic that he's on a nasal cannula now, just like Piney was. That was quite a tale he spun about Piney's death. I'm watching The Shield these days (Sutter was heavily involved in that, too) and it's fun to see Benito Martinez (Captain Aceveda) playing a heavy. That stuff with Tig was brutal. Looks like we're destined for another prison season at some point.

Another episode down and it just gets better and better. A few observations:

About ten minutes before it actually happened I thought to myself, Opie is going to take the fall as he doesn't really believe he has anything to live for - so now we have Tigs seeing his daughter burned alive and Jax seeing his best friend beat to death - that blow to his head was brutal - I pity (not) the guard that Jax told he was going to hunt down and kill!

How about an out of control Jemma beating up on that girl that was with Clay! A bit reminiscent of another fine chick that had her face smashed last season?

Clay looking older and older and much more feeble with every episode

One can only hope that the season finale will be someone taking Pope down - he is a bad ass dude!

I didn't catch it when I watched but apparently Jax was about to punch the guard so he'd be the one that went in the cage but Opie stopped him and sacrificed himself instead. That doesn't make it any easier but that's definitely something he would do. I don't think he really felt he had much left to live for and saving his best friends life was a valiant way to die.

I just hope they don't play that scene where he gets hit with the pipe again when they show the "previously on SOA". That's been stuck in my head since I saw it.

She gets very little sympathy from me. For the most part, almost everything she does is looking out for herself and that's it. She doesn't care who she has to hurt and/or kill to get her way. She's already proved that with her first husband.

One thing I do hate is how in one episode she'll be the tough old broad that won't take shit from anyone. Then in another episode she's this meek, crying mess that has to be rescued. It makes me wonder which one is the "real" Gemma.

Lots of developments last night, but was anyone bothered by the fact that no one seemed to care about Chibs after Frankie took him? They assumed Frankie would just let him go (after Frankie demonstrated how desperate he was by shooting the girl), and I don't think even Frankie knew Chibs was going to walk away until the very last second. Did they even send anyone out to look for Chibs?

It sure looks like Juice si being set up to take the fall - doesnt it?

I loved it when Gemma said to Jax what if I can't and he replied "Then get used to living in a brothel, because hookers and bangers are going to be your only family," Jax is gtting harder and harder!

I also really like the Nero character new this season. When Clay said to Nero "I know you and Jax are tight and the club appreciates your pussy salvation, but make no mistake -- you get in my way with Gemma and I'll kill you." and Nero's retort, "Don't worry, hermano. I don't make mistakes. Not like you," - he is also really tough!

My guess would be...

Pope (who is a guest star) will go and Tig (character mainstay) will survive. How that will happen is anyone's guess. My theory would be that Tig pulls the trigger thereby cementing his new allegiance to Jax.

I love that Donal Logue is guest starring. What's strange is that the nurse that Otto murdered played Donal's sister on Terriers. Weird coincidence?

Wow Season 5 is over - that went by way too fast. What did you think about the season ending episode? And thoughts for Season 6?

Jax has turned into the Lone Wolf - He took a teriffic chance with Tig - so long Pope! :-) Lets see what Jax and Popes successor deal with next season!

Unser - he is like a timex - just keeps on ticking!

The scenes with Tig and the pit bull - the soft side of the maniac Tig!

Clay - falsely accused - way to go Jax - doesn't say a word to Gemma when arrested - as she threw him to the wolves!

Otto - bites off his tongue - that was the most awesome scene in the finale!!!!!!!

Juice - the boy is conflicted - who to support, to back up!

Nero - he has turend dark - could be a memeber of SAMCRO!

Bobby - resings as VP - a sad day for SAMCRO!

And finally Tara - arrested - probably not on Gemmas threat but the ex-Marshall whos sister Otto killed probably dug up dirt. Se we know Season 6 wills tart with the Tara thread - in jail - outta jail!

And now - the long wait until Season 6 - gotta focus on other shows for a while!

Bev Vincent
12-06-2012, 03:11 AM
A lot of unexpected twists and turns in the finale, for sure.

The fade cut from Tara to Gemma was eerie. However, when push comes to shove, Tara can't hold a candle to her mother-in-law. "I hope you weren't pregnant,' Gemma says after punching Tara in the stomach. I hadn't considered your theory that it was the ex-marshal who caused her arrest. That's possible.

Another eerie resonance: Clay putting his hand on the back of Juice's head, like a father to a son. Then, a few minutes later, Jax doing the same thing, except it was more like a king to his subject. Jax really is at risk of turning into Clay. He trusted his instincts, with Tig's life at risk, in the showdown with Pope. Tig is a complicated guy: witness the scene with the transsexual hooker a few episodes back.

Otto: Way to commit. Craziest scene in a long time!

All in all, a much more satisfying finale than last year, when the Rico threat just vanished under the most convenient of circumstances.

That was an amazing season premier. I got the DVD box set of last season but I didn't get a chance to watch it before last night. I wish I had at least watched the finale so I could remember what had happened. With so much going on it's hard to keep track of who knows what, who's lying to who and who's double crossing who.

Can't wait to see how the rest of this plays out. I've got a feeling Tig isn't going to make it through to next season. Which sucks because he can provide great comedy relief once in a while.

Jax seems to be fighting battles on 3 or 4 different fronts.

I'm already seeing some backlash on blogs and websites for the school shooting scene as well. Who the hell is that kid? When they first portrayed him I thought it was a flashback of Jax when he was younger but obviously not.

CRinVA

And so it has begun! A terrific 90 minute episode to kick off the season.

The school shooting is very controversial but I thought it was done in an amazing and tasteful manner. That kid kept showing up in scenes with no explanation - I was trying to figure out who the hell he was. Then he sits on the bench and rolls up his sleeves. Seeing hte cut scars I was sure when he reached into the backpack that he was going to pull out a knife, NOT as he pulls out the automatic Uzi-like gun. I read in an interview ith Sutter after the show that he explained why he included the scene. It signifies the beginning of the end of the gun business for SAMCRO. The gun dealing hit too close to home.

and, Just wow -

Tara beats the crap out of the black bitch in prison! The Retired Marshall, Lee Toric, out to nail SAMCRO looks to be a junkie - last season it was Pope, maybe Lee Toric is this season's Pope? and no surprise that Clay is going to roll over and rat to save his ass. Juice takes a well deserved beating from Chibs and then Chibs tenderly patches him up! Jax infidelity - no surprise there! Ha ha Gemma grabs the new prospect and places his hand on her tit! Then tells him now you know me and don't call me maam!

What don't you like about it?

The basic premise of the show hasn't really changed since the beginning. It's a group of outlaw bikers that make a living by doing some really bad things. But they are fiercely protective of their town and each other.

It might get better once you start to learn more about the characters. The only problem is that you can't get too attached to them because you never know who is going to survive each episode.

The ending scene alluded to that.

They showed Nero's cousin (I honestly couldn't remember who he was exactly, just that he is played by Dave Navarro) standing at the table with the blonde woman. I thought that might have been the same woman the boy kissed goodbye at the beginning of the episode but I wasn't sure.

I think the fact that they'd never introduced her before is what confused me. Too many blonde women in the episode.

My take on the homeless lady (also, the mother of the young woman who trashed the bike and now works in the ice cream shop) is that she is some sort of guardian angel. FX has ordered a pilot for “The Bastard Executioner,” a new drama project from “Sons of Anarchy” creator Kurt Sutter.

From Fox 21 and FX Prods. , “Bastard” is a period drama that tells the story of a warrior knight in King Edward III’s charge who is broken by the ravages of war and vows to lay down his sword — but when that violence finds him again, he is forced to pick up the bloodiest sword of all.

“Sons of Anarchy” just wrapped its sixth season on FX, and season seven of the biker drama will be its last. Sutter has expressed interest in a prequel series to “Sons,” one that would explore origin stories and potentially be in miniseries format.

Yep, that's what direction the show is leaning toward, but ... that's boring. Kid kills Gemma, Jax asks kid why, kid tells Jax what Gemma said, the end. Boo.

If they wanted to make it interesting, the kid tells Jax what Gemma said, Jax kills Gemma. The end.

And more importantly, POOR BOBBY! :(

Dear Mr. Kurt Sutter,

Just leave Chibs alone ... and Tig ... and Happy.

Nah, Happy deserves it, he's one sick mothercucker. Oh wait, so is Tig ...

LEAVE CHIBS AND TIG ALONE! You can kill off anyone and everyone else, including the little baby, but leave Chibs and Tig alone.

Sincerely,

One step closer to the finale! Bobby's losing body parts left and right!

Loved it with Abel responding to Gemma's question "do you know what an accident is? and he says "do you know what an accident is?" Terrific foreshadowing! The truth to Tara's death will come out!

Bev Vincent
10-29-2014, 06:29 AM
I wonder if we got a foreshadowing of Jax's fate, too: with the implication that his father committed suicide to save the club and his family

When I first saw the crows in Gemma's bed, I thought it was Abel who did it. That kid's gonna break bad at some point.

There were two camera shots that kinda made me think they might have some sort of meaning behind them. One was Unser looking at the old burnt out clubhouse that has yet to be repaired.

The other was the final shot where all the members were in a circle staring down at the box and Jax was outside the circle facing the other direction.

Was this symbolic of what the club has become and Jax growing somewhat detached from the club?

I also think it’s interesting how they really don’t keep up the pretense of being business owners/mechanics who just happen to be “motorcycle enthusiasts” anymore. They showed Gemma in the office at TM looking over some paperwork a couple of episodes ago (when Chucky came in to tell her that he’s a good listener) but that’s about it. It’s pretty amazing how quickly Jax had his bike repaired after having it run over.

Bev Vincent

The opening montage was interesting too, with significant transitions from one character to the next, ending with the transition from Jax's jacket to the show's logo.

I think everyone, even Chib, is starting to have some doubts about Jax. But the thing is -- everything that's happened this season is Gemma's fault. All of it.

Did anyone else catch the anagram on SOA when Unser and the female cop were playing Scrabble? The female cop had the letters REASTEC.

So ... in other words, the female cop has A SECRET.

Even if she played it on a triple word square, it's not worth much as a play!

And we know she has a secret -- she's not telling the other cops SAMCRO was there when she was shot. Only Wayne knows that.

What the hell is Jax going to do now? Marks just showed you that he is not to be fucked with and then you turn around and get him arrested.

They still haven’t revealed what story Juice told Jax regarding how he ended up with Gemma’s SUV. With Unser now having proof that the person that both Juice and Gemma blamed for Tara’s murder couldn’t have possibly been the man that did it, it’s only a matter of time before Jax learns the truth.

What he actually does with that info should be quite interesting. There’s only like 4 or 5 episodes left. Sutter has said that it may not be a happy ending for everyone.

Unser's death surprised me but it felt right that he should go out defending Gemma.

I am not sure what to say about Gemma. She has deserved death for along time but in the end I actually had mixed feelings about it. It also showed just how lost Jax is especially now he doesn't have a strong woman in his life. My guess is that he will be the final death.

Old news to you isn't old news to people that are experiencing the show for the first time. They're called spoilers for a reason, because they spoil something important in a show for someone who hasn't seen it. All people don't watch shows when they are running on tv, some wait. And again, people who haven't seen the end of Breaking Bad shouldn't go into the Breaking Bad thread, because that would be stupid. But for people to spoil something in a non-Breaking Bad thread, that's fucked up.

Garrell
12-04-2014, 10:54 PM
So we should make a spoiler alert for any show reference in any thread if it is less than 10 years old? I didn't make the spoiler but was pointing out that is was not intentional. I guess I should say that please don't spoil Dexter because I plan on watching it in the next ten years. Spoiler alerts should have an expire date. To me, there is no time limit on spoilers. Let's say you're watching the finale of Breaking Bad on TV, but someone somewhere else in the country or world gets it before you. For them to call you and tell you the ending is kind of shitty, no?

If you're on Twitter, or Facebook, or the Breaking Bad thread, without being up to date, then it's your own fault. Other than that, you shouldn't be exposed to important events, especially endings, no matter how long after it aired.

FWIW, I always thought that threads discussing ongoing shows automatically contained spoilers, because they were episode to episode discussions. However, perhaps they ALL should contain "Spoiler" warnings as a matter of form. In any case, to visit an ongoing TV show discussion thread if the series has not concluded seems to me to be an "at risk" endeavor. Saavy web users should know better. JMHO

Folks who spoil shows or episodes for others are a bag of dicks.

But we should know this by recognizing how many walking bags of dicks are in the world at any moment (plenty of 'em)

I had Walking Dead's mid season episode spoiled by a facebook post from the damn shows own facebook page forwarded by one of my FB "friends" on the very night it played.

There is a special place in hell for these people.

All it takes is a moment to wrap a bit of info in spoiler tags, but let's face it, the average human being is only concerned about their own viewing schedule and agenda. It doesnt even register on the scale with some of the self centered douchebags out there.

So the moral is, if it is good episode or a hot show, watch that sheeit as fast as you can because it is difficult to avoid all the idiots bumbling around the internet.

And let's all hope they step in gum, or a bird shits on their car or something. (or, better yet, learn and implement some common courtesy)

Having *NO* time limit seems incredibly unrealistic. Obviously if the something is still on-going then you have to be careful. Even up to a couple of weeks afterwards.

But if you are getting into YEARS after something happened, I think it’s fair game. You simply can’t expect everyone to put spoiler warnings on every single little thing. Especially when it moves into pop culture. Like the Family Guy reference I made.

In fact, they also “spoiled” the meaning of Rosebud in Citizen Kane during one episode. Should there also be spoiler warning on movies that are decades old?

While I haven't always been excited about the way this show seemed to be going, this finale felt just about perfect to me. It made me appreciate what led up to it more. Jax had to become the person he was at the end to be able to realize that he could not be a "good person" and finally make the right decision for his family. Seeing that ring on Abel's finger just showed how strong Gemma's bad influence was and reinforced that she had to go.

Now, who has a theory on who the homeless girl was? If I thought Sutter would include the supernatural then I might would guess she was a real reaper. She always seems to show up right when someone has or is about to die (last year's finale and the last two episodes) and that cloak she gave Jax sure made him look like a reaper right before he killed Marks. Plus her bread was on the highway at the end. Of course this might be a crackpot theory.

Didn't Jax's Father die being hit on his bike by a Trucker?

Bev Vincent
12-10-2014, 08:45 AM
Yes, that's what happened supposedly after Gemma or Clay tampered with his bike

And there was a nice circularity in that the driver was the guy who gave Gemma a lift up to Oregon (played by the great Michael Chiklis

And as for the homeless girl, she's a mystery. She has appeared a number of times over the years, without explanation

I, for one, would have been equally as happy to see Jax keep riding into the sunset. I know he deserved to die, but he didn't have to. It was a choice.

I think Kurt was right when he said that it wouldn't necessarily be a "happy" ending, but a satisfying one. I'm ok with it. They forshadowed Jax's end long before it happened so at least it wasn't much of a surprise. Although the fact that it was a truck driven by Michael Chiklis' character was an interesting twist.

Apparently, she was also in the first season. Jax was at his father's grave and she gave him a blanket. I vaguely remember that scene.

I think the blood and wine (body of Christ, blood of Christ) was supposed to be symbolic but in the end, Kurt let the viewers decide who they thought she was. Her being the Reaper/Angel of Death is sort of what I believe.

I've heard others say they think she's the mother of Rat's girlfriend.

I wouldn’t have. Jax got what he deserved and he knew it. Him just riding off would have been a huge cop-out.

I remember him saying in one episode that he was just a HS drop-out and an “ok” mechanic. Being an outlaw was the only thing he was good at. Just leaving his club and his sons behind to start a new life somewhere else would’ve been totally out of character.

I hadn't realized how frequently the homeless woman showed up -- IMDB lists her as appearing in 11 episodes over the years, starting in 2008.

I almost forgot that the homeless woman is indeed played by the same person as Brook's mom ( the other person to die in JT's crash.) However, I don't really think it is just her ghost or that the mom didn't really die. I think whatever she is used that form for a reason, whatever that may be.

In the EW recap it pointed out that the show started with Jax on a joy ride driving by two crows feeding on a chunk of bread. So the woman, crows, bread, etc are images that are trying to bring our attention back to the beginning, a time when Jax was much more innocent.

I for one was so happy to see Jax lose the runners... :emot-roflolmao:

Loved the closing tune "Come join the murder" Murder as in a murder of birds....as in Samcrow Very very cool ending.

Sutter refuses to explain the homeless woman -- on Anarchy Afterword he says she's completely open to interpretation. He just wanted a shade of grey in a world where there's so much black and white.

I was happy with the ending... I was not blown away or anything. Again, predictable Hollywood but done well. There are many series finals that disappoint but this was ok. I wish the woman was explained more as well. All in all ok with it.

A perfect ending. After a slew of disappointing finales (Dexter, Sopranos, etc.) I was expecting the worst, and was instead immensely pleased. Just a bit overboard on the Jesus stuff, and as Sutter said, they should have spent more time/$$$ on the special effects in the end, but still, I loved it. My only regret is that I hear it will be about three years before they do the Redwood Originals 12 episode story. I can't wait for that one. Without the pressure to churn out episodes in a timely fashion, Sutter can work slowly and craft what I am sure will be an intense followup.

Maybe the homeless lady is actually JT's ghost in disguise! :)
