Hey,

Found this browsing on Internet, it reminds me of the description of a breaking beam. What do you think?

Yeah I like that maybe it was what it would have looked like when the last one went!

Wow, great pic. Anyway when I try to imagine a breaking beam I cannot... I feel it's over the capacity of my fantasy.

Yeah, I agree. There must be some PS in it.

It's possible it was shopped, but then, I've seen some crazy things
in my time. (A man and his son in a canoe on my old street when it
flooded, and some epic thunderstorms on beaches to name a few)
So it is also possible this is real.

Either way, and regardless, it's still totally awesome.

I've seen thunderstorms like that out on the plains during the monsoon season, they get pretty crazy
i believe it

That green lightning in the middle makes me think it's PS but I tend to believe you guys if you say so.

I've seen multicolored lightning before.

I've seen multicolored lightning before.

Wow, lucky you.

Oh, me too... it's just - this image looks almost too perfect. The way the rolling clouds just sort of appear out of the calmer sky...and the way the lightning seems to wrap around the clouds.

My money is on photoshop ... regardless, it's a cool image and yea - could be Beams breaking.

And to think that I saw it on Mulberry Street. ;)

Do you know where this was taken?

Do you know where this was taken?
Clearly somewhere along the Lion-Eagle beam ;)

Actually though, I don't think this is real. It could be, but I agree with turtlex in that it looks way too perfect.

They say volcanic eruptions can cause lighting storms, so that could possibly be what this is.:orely:

Work blocks pics but if I remember the pic in the original post, is it this?

and this..

If so, it's real.

That's the one! REAL! Wow . . .

ICry4Oy: Yes! That's where it's from!

It's funny to see that what we interpret as an descending phenomenon is actually an ascending one :p

It still fits with the vision I have of a breaking beam :D
