Here is my modest collection (in comparison to a lot of the ones I've seen on this board).

All books are first editions. The only thing I have signed so far is my copy of The Gunslinger.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Eric

Very nice. I see in addition to King, you have e few Chrichton books, and a Harris book. Nice.

Thanks for help with posting photos Randall. I appreciate it.

And yes, I have a whole nother book shelf with classic American literature as well as my Michael Crichton, Anne Rice, and Thomas Harris collection. I can post some of those up later on.

I'm not sure where I am heading with my Stephen King collection. I do know that I want to get a copy of Danse Macabre. I am also looking into getting a set of Dark Tower S/L/# here in the near future. There are also a few copies that I currently have that I'm looking to get cleaner copies of (Firestarter, Cujo, Pet Sematary, and Skeleton Crew).

Yes. Your books all seem in pristine condition (at least compared to mine!)... and I'd love to see your other books ( love Crichton and Harris as well). Keep 'em coming!

What a great collection!!! Could you please post some more pics of your signed Gunslinger?

There are so many directions you can go, collecting-wise. First complete your set of 1st/1st editions, then maybe expand to signed/limiteds (The Dark Tower of course, but there's a bunch of other nice limiteds), the various 'gift' editions, the UK 1sts and limiteds, magazines & anthologies with first publications, non-fiction, proofs and advance reader's copies... the list is virtually endless. Enjoy!

(I know I'm not telling you anything new, I'm just curious how your collecting will evolve)

Thanks all for the kind words.

I will get more pics of my collection tomorrow night sometime. This weekend became a lot more hectic than I originally planned (isn't that ususally how it goes though?).

I want to get a nicer copy of a few of my books along the way (Skeleton Crew, Firestarter, Cujo are a little faded on the spines but otherwise Fine copies). If anyone knows where I can just get some replacement dj's for these please let me know!

I have ordered some traycases for my first edition "Doubleday" books. They look like this:

Pictures of the cases for The Stand, The Shining, and Salem's Lot to come.

Thanks all and have a great night.

Ok. So a few expressed interest in seeing pictures of my copy of The Gunslinger. As of now it is the only signed King item I have. I hope to obtain more signed items as my collection grows. I will get some higher quality pics soon. Hopefully these will do for now. I have a set of slipcases coming for my Dark Tower set very soon.
