AAA. This is my favorite book of the series, mainly because I think we really get a feel for Roland's personality in this one.

Also AAA from me. Other books in the series, it's difficult to judge, especially on their own merits and with their endings, but this one's got it all: introduces us to Eddie and Susannah, and is full of characterisation on both parts, whilst having the occasional mega awesome action scene to boot, as well as throwing in even more surreal fantasy. Fantastic stuff.

Straight A's. The pacing , the action , the emergence of Eddie and Odetta , the expansion of Roland's personality - all of it comes together seamlessly to create a superb novel.

AAA - only part with Susannah(Detta/Odetta I mean) makes me feel quite uncomfortable...

I gave at least one A to The Stand though. There has to be a least interesting book in a series and I still think TDOTT was the one. But don't worry since we're only a few to think this way :)
