I have been working with Steve on this book for a few years, and have been impatiently waiting to announce this title. This is a cornerstone book for any lover of horror fiction, and a small, collectible print run, with no reprinting -- once they're gone, they're gone. Currently at the printer. The LIMITED will be published within the next few months; the DELUXE will be published several weeks later, given that there are 2-3 more author signatures left to be obtained.

Also - considering none of us have gotten confirmation emails, it's safe to say that they haven't sent them out yet. Perhaps they are compiling an excel spreadsheet and will email us all out (via mail merge) when they are done...

I don't think we will necessarily get a confirmatory e-mail. I recall ordering a Clive Barker lettered book a few years ago from Earthling. I didn't hear anything for a few days and finally sent another e-mail to make sure my order was taken. I heard back from him on that one and he said my order was in. I don't know what their policy is now but I would say that no news is good news.

I'm not that worried. Earthling seems a bit sketchy to me anyway. I ordered a lettered edition of Barker's THE HELLBOUND HEART, 20th Anniversary edition about 5 years ago. I have no idea if it was ever published or not. I don't think it was. Some presses get the job done. Others don't.

Yes, that is true and it is to their credit that they don't. I guess I just expect people to do what they say they are going to do and if they don't my respect for them drops a little. Maybe that's just me. I know that I got confirmation of my order for the 20th Anniversary Barker book and I have gotten nothing in the way of notification that the book is still coming, canceled, delayed or what. I guess if it is done it will have to be retitled as the 25th Anniversary.

Thanks for your patience. The books arrived in January, but had a printing error on the dustjacket. I went through two more version of printing the DJs, and finally approved one last week. I should have them in hand and can then ship books by mid May.

I just got mine today. I was expecting something a little flashier, but it is a slick production. I like the fact that there are photos of every book and a introduction to each story, so that's pretty nice.

I also fine it interesting that Stephen King has only one story in the 20 years of this anthology series...

EDIT: After looking through this more I have to find it hilarious that Harlan Ellison has his name copyrighted.
