Since King is leaving American Vampire after the first arc, will you still read the series? I probably will. Even without King, it looks like it's a great read.

Actually, I'm going to have to vote "no" on this one.

I'm collecting / reading due to Sai King's involvement and really... the last thing I need is yet another comic title to read each month. I have no doubt it will be a strong read - but if I'm going to continue, I'll wait and grab the GNs.

I also voted "No". The only reason I'm reading it is King's involvement.

This sums up my thoughts perfectly.

Ditto. I don't really like graphic novels.

I'll keep reading it if the story is good. I have my favourite writters/artists but if someone unknown comes out with a kick-ass comic, I'll put it on my list. This is no different.

I sure will. I am hooked on the stories of Pearl and Skinner.

I haven't read it yet, but it seems to me, if the Pearl storyline is good, that should be reason enough to continue (money committing obviously). Besides, King will likely be back when/if they reach the 50s/60s.

I'll probably wait for the GN anyway.

I'll be getting the hardcover and that's pretty much it.
