Hiya.

This is actually the second time I've had to type this thread. For some reason my browser keeps refreshing on me and wiping what I type.

Anyways, I know I'm still new here but I wanted to put up some of my art and stuff for people to see. It's nothing special, but I like most of them, and I've been illustrating and drawing for a while now.

This first one is a digital painting I did for a magazine cover. It's for a fanzine that a friend of my uncle used to run.(or does still run, I don't really know.)

This next one is an old portrait of an ex-girlfriend. (Ironically done After we broke up. Or maybe not so ironically. Hm.)

This is a pencil portrait of some girl. Dunno who she is, she's a stock-model on Deviantart.com. I don't have the original picture either, or I'd post it up.

This is probably my best illustration / digital painting. I like red.

This is a quickie for a book cover for a book I never wrote. (Well, I did write it, but I changed the title since it had absolutely nothing to do with the book.)

But of course I draw comic/cartoon style stuff too. Here's a few things...mostly the pieces I liked the best.

This one I drew for my high-school geometry teacher. He was this funny looking guy who had a very uniuque personality. So for some reason I drew him as Darth Vader. He liked it, he put a printout up on the chalkboard, and I think it's still there to this day.

This was for a personal comic-book project that never came to light, sadly.

Oh, and I also like to do videos. (By do, I mean edit them and create all the content for said videos.)

This is my most recent one, I did for a class I had. Yeah, you're not supposed to get it. It's for that book I mentioned earlier. And yes, I did all the artwork, 3d and editing in the video. I didn't compose the music though.

(For some reason, embedding is not working for me, or I would embed.) Edit: Oh, I guess it did.
Anyways, just thought I'd post some stuff up. Thanks for looking, and I'm gonna hopefully do some DT stuff (maybe some comic-book work or just some fanart. Perhaps some 3d? Maybe a 3d Roland?) but I'm scared to post it up here since everyone's so specific about how they think Roland looks.

Welcome to the site, Canada! :rose:
You definitely should do DT stuff! I'd like to see how you would picture Roland. :fairy:

Hi. the video looks awesome. :)

i like the pencil sketch a lot, and the digital work is sick (i, too, like the red one the best). i also like that you used deviant art for your stock. that site is pretty much the raddest.

great work!

Oh, well thank you all! :) I'm trying to work on some new stuff but I'm usually pretty busy (school, work, kids, etc.)but the next things I do are undoubtedly going to be DT-related.

@Melike: I'm sure it'd be pretty similar to what everyone else thinks, most likely it'll be something like how Whelan depicted him in VII, except I always liked to think of him with a traditional cowboy's duster, even though King never mentioned one. The only part I'd really have to do on my own would be his guns, since everyone's opinions vary so much on what they would look like.

@Mike: Yeah, I think the red one was actually the most recent one I did, the most "finished" one done, recently, anyways. I've really been slacking, most of this stuff is pretty old, except for the video. I've actually got another one, a longer, better one with dialouge (Haha, and I'm such a good voice-actor) and stuff but that one's still got some work to do before it's done.

Again, thanks guys. Just wanted to say hi and throw some of my stuff out here so I'd have somewhere to start from. I'll update this thread when I've got more stuff, probably just that new video. I am planning on doing a 3D Roland sometime soon, probably after this Quarter's class finals (in a few weeks).
