It was meh, so I guess that's between so-so and average. I'll round up.

The movie was so-so; had some real good points. I liked the book much better on the whole.

I'll say this for the umpteenth time: the bachman books are STUNNING, some of my absolute favorites

4 from me. A good "fun read" that I enjoyed. Brain candy.

After a recent reread, it went down to a 2 for me. Just okay, not spectacular.

I Loved this book, one of my favourite bachmans - gave it 5

I hated the movie! The movie was nothing like the book IMO

2. This is one of the rare occasions where I liked the movie better than the book.

Even though the movie bore almost no resemblance at all to the book, I still prefer it. This story just feels a little forced to me at times. The movie was a freaking hoot - Richard Dawson. Heh.

I love Arnold movies and loved the book, but hated the movie more than any other 80s King adaptation I've seen (and I have seen most of them).

I've only seen part of the movie. The book comes highly recommended to me from a fellow constant reader. I'll read it one day.
